FPS Tanks for no reason
United Kingdom MitchCrompton
So I've had this issue arise that has only started happening today, to give some background on my specs, my PC can 100% handle cs at highest settings and highest settings are the auto settings for the game, I have used the same setup for years now and had no fps problems, in task manager there are no issues with cpu or ram usage either. When I join a server (doesn't matter if its a valve server or an offline one I host) the first minute or so of gameplay is completely fine, however after that minute my FPS suddenly and quickly drops to 30 and below, never going above 30 at all, making the game basically unplayable, lowering my graphics settings does nothing as the FPS will go up to around 200 for maybe 10 seconds before plummeting back down to >30. I've also noticed that on net_graph 1 the SV goes red and quite high when the FPS tanks, but I don't know what this means. I have restarted my PC multiple times and verified game files, nothing has helped

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\panorama (or wherever ur csgo folder is) and change the 'videos' folder to 'videos1'

also try : - 'snd_debug_sleep' in console when fps drops occurs - download 'malwarebytes' and run a scan sometimes .PUPs cause fps drops, if you find any .PUPs then quarantine them - find the csgo process and set it to high priority in task manager
