I used to be extremely fat (157kg). Now I managed to reach 103kg which is already really significant but I'm not satisfied yet. Although people around me keep telling me that I don't need any weight loss anymore, I see myself every day and I can still see I have a big belly and fat legs for some reason. Also I would like my face to be slimmer while rn it's slightly chubby. So I've been thinking and decided that I need to reach like 95kg and I would be completely fine
2019-12-06 14:53
So do it? Why should anyone else's opinion change that?
2019-12-06 14:56
Well I'm actually doing it but I have doubts because SO MANY different people around me told me that I look "good" already and that if I lose any more weight then I will be SKINNY but I completely disagree and think that's bullshit
2019-12-06 15:01
So continue and ignore them? Focus on urself.
2019-12-06 15:03
Guess you are right.
2019-12-06 15:06
Start lifting my friend.
2019-12-14 20:16
Around 100kg is ok. You can put some muscles and even 105kg is not too much. You have solid height.

U cant generalise optimal weight like that, different ppl have different genetics etc
2019-12-06 14:58
90kg is definetely not enought. Youd need to look like a stick to be 90kg and 197cm

2019-12-06 15:28
187, 82kg is enough. 197 and 90kg is not enough
2019-12-14 20:14
no? 90kg and 197 is BMI just over 23 which is perfectly fine.

just convert it into muscle, dont think that you need to loose a lot of weight, maybe a high amount of bodyfat is the problem
2019-12-06 14:49
Well it is possible to convert it into muscle mass at all? Like for example I have a big belly and I can hardly imagine it transforming into abs or whatever without losing weight at first. What was on my mind: I need to lose more weight first, and then I can focus on gaining muscles

yeah then the best option is to change your diet while simultaneously working out.the results will of course not show that fast but dont let that discourage you since you will speed up your weight loss process with added workout and some cardio. It will also improve your overall health and energy level
2019-12-06 15:08
Yes 100% it is possible. Eat in a calorific deficit, eat sufficient protein to fuel muscle growth and apply a progressively overloading weight training routine and you will see the difference in body re-composition.

If you want to be really slim, like visibly, you need to make it to 85. But 90, 95 is ok too.
2019-12-06 14:54
I don't want to be slim but I want to look fit and not fat or chubby. But right now I still have a visible belly

then 90-95 should be your objective bro, gl!
2019-12-07 01:42
hard to say, at 197 i guess 75-135kg is normal weight.
2019-12-06 14:56
50kg difference LOL
2019-12-06 14:58
60...
2019-12-06 15:01
Yes it's still normal weight according to BMI
2019-12-06 20:46
i always think like, ur height -100 convert to kilo, so 97 is like optimal, but 103 is very good, its not really about weight if its muscle, and fat doesnt matter that much if u still have muscle uunder it and good condition
2019-12-06 14:59
I wouldn't say I'm in good condition tho
2019-12-06 15:03
maybe start jogging and exercise, gym maybe but push ups, sit ups, etc u can do with ur own weight anywhere, although its probably harder for ur size cuz im small
2019-12-06 15:04
Yeah I've started going to the gym again (i used to go like 6 months ago) but I was mainly focusing on cardio cuz my main goal was to lose as much weight as possible I can't really afford a coach so idk what exactly to in the gym

2019-12-06 15:04
Yeah I wouldn't mind being lower actually. It's ridiculous but I had had the choice I'd rather cut like 10cm of my height and add it to the other tip of the body x=D

Im 2.03m and 97kg
2019-12-06 15:24
If you're actually working out and most of your weight is good shape then you dont have to worry much about it but you cant afford to gain much fat at 103. Im 178cm tall and 72kg and my goal is to pray to the universe i can grow 2cm more and one day be 105KG like Batman, im dead serious, i believe i can do it. If you're 103 but like...fat, yeah you gotta cut flours, suggars and be careful with the meat you eat, eat good meat and eat a bunch of greens.
2019-12-06 15:24
Every BMI reference in existence will tell you that a healthy range for your height (197cm) is 72 - 97 kg. 85kg is your sweet spot dude but if you're aiming to be a muscle man then it's no problem to go to the upper end of that range, even into the "overweight" range just beyond 100kg.
2019-12-06 15:33
But most importantly how long is it?
2019-12-06 20:47
i'm sweating
