Not if you play on 1920x1080p with all settings maxed out, and let alone if he uses a 240hz. You want a good reliable pc and not a trashcan that needs replacement in 2-3 years.

who would buy a 240hz monitor as an entry to the PC scene, it says FOR CSGO. my system has a 2600 and runs cs well over 300fps average

I hope you realize that most ppl buy a 240hz for csgo and not for any other games.. since its nearly impossible to get over 240 fps with modern games.

I hate when people want tips about how to build pc but they dont give a budget How much is ur budget? I have a 200usd pc and i get 250fps so you need to be more specific But the best price/performance build right now is with a ryzen 3600 and maybe rtx 2060 super

500$ and time into scouting for deals could get you a good machine

Csgo will run on a potato. Question is how good of a PC you'll be satisfied with. Need high refresh rate? Are you planning for low graphics settings and maybe resolution to maximize performance and minimize costs? Will play other games too?

if you are looking for 144hz the probably around 600-800$, you can skimp on the graphics card, probably like an rx570 or something. For cpu I'd go with a Ryzen 5 2600, and memory, at least 3200mhz and 8gb minimum, although prices are so low I'd go for 16

no idea where you live but 600 Euros should make a really good PC for csgo depending on the price, you should get R5 2600, R5 3600 or R7 2700, GPU is not as important, can get like some RX 580
