they're not pulling out of cs. i definitely think they're gonna build around tenz though.

With this news, Cloud9 is seemingly down to just their coach James "JamezIRL" Macaulay and two players, Oscar "mixwell" Cañellas and Tyson "TenZ" Ngo. However, in the official announcement, Cloud9 only mentioned that they are retaining the Spaniard, with no mention of the Canadian player who was benched in October.

Did you watch any of C9's games? TenZ played horribly and he also had a shitty attitude outside of the game. There's zero reason for C9 to keep him if they ever want to be a tournament contender again.

auti .68 rating at blast copenhagen. i guess that means auti is a dog shit player right? you're just another idiot who's affected by recency bias

Auti has only been bad for a few months, otherwise he's been great in 2019. TenZ has been dogshit the whole time he played in tier 1 / 2 with Cloud9. He has only ever been good against bots that stand still and bots that play in NA MDL. Autimatic also knows how to play in a proper team and won't complain on stream the second he doesn't get what he wants. TenZ had the chance to play with one of the better IGL's in NA and he blew it by not doing what he was asked to do.

tenz played with c9 for 3 MONTHS with an igl who's style of cs clashed with his own. if you're gonna base tenz's worth as a player off of 3 months with a dysfunctional roster and disregard how impressive he's been in the past then you're an idiot. c9 didn't pick him up for no reason

TenZ has only ever played good against MDL teams. Cloud9 was his chance to play tier 1 teams and instead of committing to the project he disobeys his IGL on server and then complains in his stream how he doesn't get everything he wants. And he still played like shit the whole 3 months. TenZ might one day become a good player, but it's obvious that he isn't yet ready to play in a team that wants to challenge for trophies. To have a future in a tier 1 team you need to be able to do as you're told by the team captain and not completely shit the bed with your performance. TenZ failed both of those things.

It wasn't an issue of styles clashing, it was TenZ being a little brat, wasting his biggest opportunity by trying to dictate to the people with years of t1 experience how he wanted the team to be built around him playing like a pugger instead of learning how to actually fit into a team. And I say this as a previously outspoken supporter of TenZ.

He only played 5 or 6 maps in total. And he played quite decent against liquid on his first tourny. Its not a bad idea giving him little time. Its too soon call him bad or good.

He definitely has potential to be a good player but I don't think he's ready to play in an org like Cloud9 that hopefully wants to be tier 1 again. If C9 had an academy team it would be the perfect place for TenZ to develope and then one day make it to the main team.

Thats why Stewie is special. And guess what one of his best qualities was when he came up? He was good at taking criticism, being self critical and improving himself based on it. TenZ has been the exact opposite of that. He got the chance to play with one of the better and nicer IGL's in NA and he still couldn't behave and instead blamed Daps for his own shit play.

tenz is literally only 18 years old. when he's at the top of the NA scene you better keep this same energy about him lmao
2019-12-07 16:07
Without an attitude change theres no reason for any t2 team to even think about picking him up, dogshit stats the entire time he was on C9 and dogshit attitude, get him out ffs. If you cant get 1.1+ against t2 teams while being setup as a star player you can fuck off lmao
2019-12-07 16:48
tenz is not prepared for that

It's really weird, I assume that cloud9s sponsors/owners/whatever demand that they have a team in csgo so I guess that they will build around Mixwell but the real question is, who coud they get, who would want to sign for cloud9 in these times?

If they use leftovers and scraps from other teams they will not archieve anything. They need some kind aof academy or scouted players...
