5 Reasons why OG will be Top 5
 |
Finland iBait
5. Mantuu - His performance with Alternate Attax has certainly earned him a shot in a better team, and what would be a better team for a young guy like Mantuu do develope in than a team like OG with 3 players that have prior experience in leading young talent to the top. 4. ISSAA - When talking about ISSAA I think most people only remember him from his most recent stint with HellRaisers, where he admittedly was rather poor. However it's worth noting that the same applied to every HellRaisers player in the months before the team inevitable imploded and switched to a CIS lineup. ISSAA was an absolute beast in 2017, and a functional team like OG should hopefully help him regain the level of play he has shown he's capable of. Another quality ISSAA has is his reputation as being positive and funny, which could be just what a new team like OG needs to get them through their initial growing pains. 3. NBK, the King Maker - Who would be a better fit when building a championship winning team than the guy who has done it several times before, most recently with Vitality. NBK has no problem sacrificing his own performance for the good of the team while also tying the project together with his years of experience. 2. Valde - The beast of a player who many would expect to be first on the call list if Astralis were to ever require a roster chance has curiously chosen to leave the Danish scene behind him and instead focus his efforts on being the starplayer of his first international team, OG. Despite Valde's form having taken a slight dip in the last few months during his last attempt to save North from their unavoidable future as a mediocre team by taking on the role of an IGL, I have no doubt that the 20th best player of 2018 has still got the skill needed to be the starplayer OG needs him to be. 1. Aleksib - The tactical mastermind who was recently cut from ENCE in what many would call the worst roster move of the year briefly became one of the hottest prospects in the scene when the news about a 1 million dollar offer from Complexity surfaced. Despite the interest Aleksib had gotten from several other top tier organizations, he decided to remain in Europe and instead went with an offer that allowed him to build his own team under OG Esports. During his tenure in ENCE he elevated them from being merely the most promising team in Finland to being firmly considered a top 3 team worldwide. While a part of ENCE's success can certainly be attributed to the teams young starplayer Sergej, Allu's experience and Twista's tactical insight it has since ENCE's roster move become clear that Aleksib was a huge part of making the team such a successful project as his previous teammates and SunNy have barely been able to remain in the top 10 after Aleksib's inspired calling was removed from the equation. Thanks for reading, I firmly believe that Aleksib's proven skills as an IGL coupled with NBK's experience and Valde's individual brilliance can easily reach top 5, although like with every single brand new team it will take some time to get everything going.

I do, but I've also read how he considered the players personalities and roles when putting together the team which has made me pretty confident he can pull this project off.

How can you be a fan of a team that have played zero matches, that is also an international team with a bunch of players that have never played together?

Then be a fan of a player, dont write nonsense about a team becoming top5 just because you want a player on a team to do well.

There are many good teams they will have to beat if they wanna be top5. In my opinion, there are so many good teams that I really doubt they'll make top5. Astralis, Liquid, Evil Geniuses (If they are Astralis mode, not mousesports mode), fnatic is doing great, Navi, Vitality with Zywoo... Don't get me wrong, Aleksib got Ence to top2 in 1 year, but he played with team-mates who had the same language and culture. Eventhough I really like Aleksib, I don't think they will make top 5, but top 10 for sure.
2019-12-07 10:38
+1 cs scene rn is so competitive i think OG will be top 10 ish but they would have to bust their ass to crack top 10

i hope so!! Aleksib=n0tail (great IGL) Valde=ana (basically the carry of the team) NBK=ceb (the mature one, bring a lot of experiences) ISSA=jerax (2nd carry of the team, if the 1st carry (valde/ana) doesnt show up on the game) mantuu=topson (some random pug player who didnt get enough recognition till he show up on LAN and styling on everybody) LETS GO OG!! #DreamOG

Alexsib has had a dry spell after their major run. That’s why he wanted to move to Faze? I think it was. I’m not quite sure whether he played as IGL and allu was awper. So now what position will he play? Surely NBK will be IGL. Will he just be a rifler?

Ben you're overthinking this...
2019-12-07 12:24
Nah, another top5-10 team, that will never do anything. Make a top 4 here and there. Maybe get a lucky in a playoff bracket, and reach the final. But will never consistently beat the top teams.

No one consistently beat the top teams. Well maybe astralis. But they had some losing experiences too like vs EG on esl ny or vs fnatic on malmo. So? What's your point?
2019-12-07 12:32
That OG will never win anything with this current lineup.

i bet you they will win every dreamhack open that they decide to attend in the future. and this line up will stay for at least 6 months.

They will never win tier 1 event... Quote me later.
2019-12-07 11:17
I just hope they do succeed and I am just gonna laugh after OG wont do anything significantly and those idiots will automatically write OG to disband bcz of their 1st tournament when they maybe didnt have time to prepare that much

These projects or "experimental" teams will never work.. maybe for reaching top 10 but not tournament winning material. Faze and mouz are exceptions that are built with time and many changes

You must have such a boring life if you have time to write something like that on HLTV They will reach TOP5 (rankings mean shit) in HLTV's ranking but they will be in TOP5 for maybe like 2 weeks

2019-12-07 12:21
HLTV ranking easy going get non stop invites for events do some semi-finals and you are top 5 no matter how good your team truly is. Furia was top 5 and win nothing and was even at this time crap.

mantuu? Swear he has lived in the UK since he was 5 I highly doubt he doesn't know how to call in English.
