CROWD CHEATING
 |
United States I_AM_FAT_BURGER_EATER
TY mouz for beating Asstralis. NOT blaming Astralis for crowd cheating, it's totally on the TRASH danish crowd, we all know they'll do anything to help astralis win, which is not sportsmanlike. NA does it too, I didn't experience it at either IEM Chicagos however, but I'm sure there are examples out there. Let's make this no longer an issue, it ruins the fun in the game. #vaMouz

seeing crowd cry after the loss XAXAXAXA

flag certainly doesn't check out
2019-12-08 04:14
hearing them say the same chant for literal hours ruined the entire series. partly on ESL for holding a tournament in the biggest shit hole city in denmark tho.

they would check that boost even without the crowd's help
2019-12-08 04:21
lmfao sure
2019-12-08 04:56
it's a super common boost and they were slowly checking every angle... but yes there were other situations when the crowd most likely helped astralis

Checking every angle? You could cleary see him trying to find the enemys with the crowds support, like he has a fucking metal detector lmaooooo
2019-12-08 06:07
Plus xyp called in gla1ve to help him double peek it, the crowd totally gave it away. It was funny when it happened on train, crowd screamed too early for the Tmain flank and dupreeh turned around and saw nothing lol, then the flank came like 1 second later! Dumbfuck dane crowd cant even cheat right

No fucking way dude. Even if they would check it, through the crowd they know there are 2 people boosting for 100%.

Boost needs 2 people = they know the location of 2 people.

Yeah but why do u say "even if they would check it" and then proceed to talk abt something that doesn't link

Well, they know there are 2 people before even checking that boost. So he could react even faster in terms of wallbanging the second guy.

Yeah but what u said was kinda confusing because you say "even if they would check it" which implies that ur gonna talk abt a scenario with no crowd help. And then u proceed to talk abt how the crowd help them. edit: and its the crowd that tells them location of boost, but the players know when hes boosted thru window theres one guy below, and its not double peek its spray transfer so wouldnt make a bare difference

Because of you saying: "they would check that boost even without the crowd's help" At first i said that they wouldn't check it, because its not a boost you do every round. But even in scenario in which they would have checked it, the crowds info is 100% op like i pointed out above.

" but the players know when hes boosted thru window theres one guy below, and its not double peek its spray transfer so wouldnt make a bare difference" It makes a difference if you think someone is boosted and peek or if you know it for sure and peek.

Even if they dont know they are boosting, in this exact spot, in the time that he spots the first guy and tries to kill him, they already k that theres another guy below. The only difference it makes is spotting the first guy who is boosted + peeking, but getting the second guys theres no difference because 1. Even if u know theres a boost u usually spray the top guy first then transfer to the guy below 2. if u dont know theres a boost (hence that theres another guy there) in the time u kill the first guy u already realise theres another one below, so that time to transfer has no bare difference

And since we are talking about 'wallbanging the second guy' in this EXACT scenario, the time difference taken to spot the first/top guy is irrelevant

And you could say that if u take longer to spot the first guy because u dont know of the boost, then u take longer to kill the second guy, but for pros the flick/adjustment, especially for common spots is a split second, and gla1ve also had AK advantage. And the second guy is behind a wall so he cant help to trade or refrag. Hence why I say there is a bare minimum difference, meaning there isn't 0 difference, but small enough that he'd get away with the frag. In fact, he didn't even get the second guy thru the wall, so I don't even see ur point that knowing abt boost beforehand helped him know the position of two people. Even if he didn't k of the boost, spotting the first guy by surprise gives the same info anyways, and in both scenario,s the second guy gets away alive, so again, bare difference.

those headsets they wear are supposed to be noise cancelling

If I'm right it's not the sound they hear, it's vibrations
2019-12-08 04:18
I know at other tournaments, they're supposed to cut the noise out of the crowd from videos I've watched from pros
2019-12-08 04:20
try canceling out sounds, and more importantly, vibrations made by thousands of people

every gaming headset is "noise cancelling". They can see the crowd get animated, they can hear when they're screaming that loud.

its the best seeing the crowd cry when astralis lose

lmfao it happened at IEM chicago, ESL one NY and ECS arlington, but now u suddenly have a problem, your home crowd is complete shit compared to what we saw. They legit call out the positions and dont just make ooooHH sounds like they did at that 1 occasion on Overpass which wasnt even close lmfao
2019-12-08 15:11
waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh mommmmmmm he did it firsttttttttttttttttt

its so hillarious to see all the americans coming out from their hiding now, you guys were so quiet when it happened in ur 3rd world country claiming "its just part of the competitive spirit" but now ur all outraged hahahahaha

I don't really know why people blame the crowd. They weren't shouting positions or anything, they just got excited because they thought astralis will get the kill. You can't control the emotions of 5+ thousands of people. This is something that will always be part of LAN cs
