I think they could be a consistent top team if they had a real star rifler instead of frozen

2019-12-08 18:27
no man give the guy a break.. He is 17 years old and is already showing huge potential, I have been looking at this team with high expectations ever since the lineup was announced, the young players are only going to get better and this team will definitely be a contender for tournament wins in the future

I just don't think he has played that impressive with Mouz overall. I can give him some time, but right now I think he's the best candidate if they wanted to do a roster change (which they obv wont after this strong tournament).
2019-12-08 18:37
Mouz hasnt been impressive but I dont know any realistic options who could replace him with as much potential. Actually not a single one.

I haven't thought about it much now either, but if there is a candidate and he plays average with good roles they could consider it.

Give him more time, he’s been playing on the top level for like half a year and he’s done great making that huge jump from T3 at his age.

Yes, ofc they shouldn't do something rn since they found success. If they keep struggling with average performances like before they should look at it

Its not like he’s doing bad now either - he’s been doing great pretty much since he joined and will be a star on this roster in a few months. Brollan wasn’t great in his first few months on Fnatic and look at him now.

Let's hope you are right. He has 1.09 on big events this year which is fine, not great, but absolutely not bad.
2019-12-08 18:44
(Past 3 months) Rating 2.0 1.15 Top 25% (86th percentile) ok, bad player clearly

1.09 big events 2019. Never said he was bad, just that he isn't playing like a star rifler. He has potential but I defo want him to show more of it soon

potentially yes, but t1 includes consistancy mostly
2019-12-08 18:09
yeah, they need to stop choking to shit teams.

A thing Karrigan teams always lacked and I see no difference with mouz now.

yes you're right overall, but they might have this in here if frozen maintains the level that he played at epl. i mean their firepower potential so high

It feels like for some Tier1 means Top1; for me everyone in the Top10 or even Top15 is a Tier1 Team with potential to defeat or upset pretty much everyone. No doubt mouz is T1. I mean Navi is #14 and is probably considered T1 by pretty much everyone.

to me this is a very flawed logic, if 8th team can never beat top3 and always bombs in quarterfinals or group, how can they be in the same tier? Surely its better to base tiers on current level of teams, not just arbitrary ranking numbers. and nobody would consider navi tier 1 before this event, and i still would not put them there
2019-12-08 18:37
Seems like a miracle run so far like Cloud9 at the Berlin major where they were a decent team but definitely not tournament winners and suddenly won one of the biggest tournaments of the year. But you can't really tell for sure until the following events which happen after the player break.

2019-12-08 18:36
xD meant Boston major
2019-12-08 18:47
They went for bootcamp, came back, destoryed EG(had to take drug test after that LUL), won Astralis and now in the finals destroying fnatic.
2019-12-08 18:24
They were mediocre last 8 months. 4 months out of top10, never placed higher #7 place in rankings. 1-2 good tournaments don't immediately make them solid tier1 team.
2019-12-08 18:29

Mouz is a great team, they just need to get more consistent. I like how close the top 6-7 teams are to each others. I can't wait for next year, it will be so fun and interesting and see how all the teams have developed after some free time and training.

I think they are legit but I also think the story of 2019 is kind of written at this point. In other words in order to keep up with Astralis and Liquid long-term they are going to need Frozen to continue to develop and hopefully have Ropz finally become what we've been expecting for like two years now. Consistent top ten player basically. Otherwise their fragging will fall short against the really stacked teams. Maybe Karrigan can game plan around that but that's never really been his system. He wants to empower his young guys to come online not anti-strat around weaknesses on his own squad.

Mouse is as much tier 1 as ENCE, FaZe, NaVi and all other one-time-wonders of 2019. Tier 1 = consistency nowadays. Mouse would need to be solid at least until mid-2020 to be cemented as t1. Only Astralis and Liquid are currently tier 1 and have been throughout the year.
2019-12-08 18:33
wait 2 months and check the ranking. lets see how relevant mouz still is.
