Yes, when we get a top 20 AWPer, we might be able to be better
Like an actual top 20 player, who is an Awper
Have to be USA because USA only major
lol the best is yet to come, liquid is going to start an era early 2020 and will establish their era throughout the entire year. i can't wait for the crying euros on hltv
I doubt itll improve much from here. This year could of been sooo much better too if liquid didnt fall off a cliff after the player break.
how can 2019 be the best year of na when they werent even close to winning a Major???
C9 will be back soon, so NA will dominate.
There's hope for liquid but I don't believe in Eg or any other NA team
NA cs might improve if teams stop giving contracts to shit washed up players like daps, koosta, rush, stan, shazam etc...
NA scene has alot ALOT of young guys that just need an opportunity to shine, floppy, moose, dapr, infinite, marke, wardell, android, vanity but they give the big salaries and contracts to shit players like rush, koosta and shazam FUCK IM SO MAD
yes 0-16 was good this year, lets go for that sweet 0-32 or 0-48 next year
#viva NA #somosNA #alwaysNA
Obviously 2019 was a major turning point for NA CS. But it really started in late 2017 with Liquid/C9 coming up as legitimately good teams.
2018 when the NRG core came online was when things really started to change. All of a sudden Liquid and NRG were threats to win every tournament they went to. Unfortunately for both squads Astralis was coming into form as the best team to ever touch CSGO.
In 2019 in terms of Tier 1 events it's probably pretty close in terms of European wins versus NA wins. That's a sea change and something that's never happened in the history of CS. People can process that however they like it's just facts at the end of the day.
Going into 2020 I expect Liquid to continue to be monsters on the server. There is nothing to suggest Elige, NAF and Twistzz are going to fall off as players anytime soon. EG is less convincing but Brehze is a superstar talent and Ethan/Cerq are great pieces. If Tarik and Stan turn out to be liabilities EG clearly has the will and money to rectify the situation.
So basically to be continued but if you can't see the upward trajectory you are trolling or just blind to the history of the game.
This might be it unfortunately
Considering how even the lower tier teams are improving, while lots of the players are quite young, I expect NA CS to continue to grow/improve
With a possible franchise league I think it will become more lucrative for people to become pro players instead of pro streamers
I think right now the NA scene largely has the same problems as the UK scene, big population and player pool but a severe lack of dedication from a lot of players, obviously weve been seeing more and more top NA teams popping up and I think that will lead to much more NA representation in the Top 30 (ex. ATK and Gen.G maybe even c9 if they sign an actually good roster soon) because there are a lot of good players in NA but they mostly fall short in some type of way or never really get their shot due to a poor infrastructure when it comes to going pro.
Many NA teams have no experience in huge events, almost go unnoticed thanks to Liquid and Eg. What I think is probably make one better team of Eg and Liquid mixture and go for it
Liquid need something different, idk what, maybe change players or functions.
EG I think that they are a miracle, cerq was always good, but you see the rest of the lineup and you think, that is almost a miracle that they turned in a really solid tier 1, they will continue being good imo competing etc but they already had the climax imo
Other teams has no good enough players to be tier 1, but 2 teams at tier 1 is solid.
Seems the consensus is it's on it's way up.
Which is plainly obvious to anyone paying attention. Good for HLTV getting it right for once.
Also, the rumored NA franchise league could shake things up past the two *great* cores we already have. What I mean is serious investment in the scene which it's never had like a Sweden or Denmark. If you bring together some of these disparate talents thrown across teams like Envy, former C9 etc you can probably build a third international contender.
We are on the rise, and will continue to I believe. Liquid and EG have fallen off now, so idk about them, but I think in general, NA cs will become stronger and grow.
Would love to see Envy:
Can be top15 imo
Floppy could join but atk doing goof
