So. Let me break this down. Hypothetically you’re an investor okay? Investors for the most part make safe bets (investments). They generally aren’t gamblers. So if you’re an investor, are you going to spend your money (remember investing in esports is already risky) on players that haven’t competed at top levels competitively? No. Hell no you aren’t. You’re going to invest in players that you already know are reliable, can get the job done, and you can feel comfortable they will at least be above average. I get where you’re coming from but I think you’re looking at it wrong. This is a org issue around all of esports. Orgs need to invest more in younger talent, and own more secondary teams that you already have a person under contract and you already have them scouted and know them well because they’ve been on your secondary team. Almost like hockey.
