since i have seen so many people battling with each other about who deserves the mvp or who carried mousesports or who was the best player, i have to point out that the team showed up all together as individualls and as a team that was the keypoint for their success. people were bitching about chrisJ being terrible, but he saved them against astralis at the end of dust 2 literally one man carry and had so many impact kills through out the whole tournament, then we have frozen just look at his stats hltv.org/stats/players/matches/9960/froz.. only 17 years old btw, had so many multi kills people dont even give him any credit for but only see his mistakes or when he goes missing for 1 round. then we have the mastermind carrygan, kept his cool and he was their entry fragger, made barely any major mistakes even tho he whiffed a couple of shots here and there he gave his best as an IGL. dont expect any crazy stats from a entry fragger that throws himself through the smoke and molotov so his team mates can trade him. and then we have woxic and ropz who made that overall impact by dominating their enemys, who showed up to their full potential in every way... so what i am trying to say here is, being the best player brings you only so far, we have a good example with vitalitly and zywoo, so respect the team and stop bitching about who was the best, since we all have seen from mousesports if they dont show up all together they barely reach anything. so give credit for the team instead of picking your favorit player and act like he carried them through the whole tournament.

Everyone on mouz did really well, no one player carried the entire tourney but each played a critical role

your post is irrelevant lol isnt it logical that every single member in the team contributed to the win as in every team? your message is it that others think only ropz frozen and woxic carreid the worse performers karrigan and chrisj but everyone with a brain knows that it wasnt them alone.

my topic is mostly pointed out to those people who dont understand team effort and for people who do understand it but dont want to give any credit to either karrigan chrisJ or especially frozen and ignore their impact, since whenever mousesports plays a game they only remember the clutch moments or impact plays of their favorit players. by your logic calling this thread irrelevant i dont see any relevant threads out here on hltv then, which wonders me why you are even here on hltv and reply to this thread.

Don't bait

It was mostly turkish ppl who were crying that Ropz got mvp instead of Woxic. Others were kool with it.

ropz deserved it defo more than woxic woxic had his best game in the most important match tho thats why you could argue that he somehow deserved the mvp but looking at the rating and consistency ropz definitely deserves it more than him

It was a GREAT match: Hat's off to Mouz! Taking down the Kings requires the utmost top class A game from ALL players!

Well ... Top #2 to #10 changes all the time, where it seems a bit tuff to take over the Top #1 spot for everyone else. Yes, nobody is invincible. Not even Astralis, but they seem to be the "least losing" team atm. The "era of eras" is over, and they DON'T win everything (which they in fact NEVER did!), but I think you read something between the lines, I didn't mention. Every pro, coach, desk, expert and commentator agrees about Astralis being THE team to beat. In this case Mouz actually DID by stepping up like NO ONE expected! WP by Karrigan & Co indeed!

That's true. Astralis was basically the endboss.

and requires device having a rating like 0.85

I have to agree. It was funny to see people cry about how bad chrisJ was and then he steps up with really valuable performances. Beside that, he is also important for the team chemistry.

you are so right if ropz's MVP meter is 100% then woxic might be 90%, but there's only 1 MVP. And all this is subjective. Ropz said it, they each had their impact when needed and none is carried.
2019-12-09 18:06
I think ropz is the star player of mousesports and he deserved the MVP but without woxic & chrisJ they couldnt make any success in this tournament.
