Need help evaluating my life.

Last year I transferred university from afar to close to my home and now live at home. Which do you think is objectively better from my descriptions. Life A: -expensive accommodation with small room. - buy my own food (nice, but unhealthy + expensive). Lived off chicken fajitas wraps, deliveroo curries. - wash my clothes. Take out rubbish etc. -able to sleep on demand. I has more lectures, but would get back to my room very tired, sleep whatever time it is. And get up at odds times. Sleep schedule was constantly fucked. Sometimes I'd sleep in the day on Sunday, forget it was Sunday and therefore not eat all day as shops were closed. - I masturbated a lot. Porn through my headphones. In bed. Onto myself. Then sometimes I'd lay there for ages. Them shower. I wasted a lot of time doing this. - I was very lonely. Didn't even have my parents to talk to. I impulse bought PC parts and built a 2nd PC. Internet was good there and I'd basically play CS whenever I was bored. No longer felt sort of depressed. -little exercise other than speed walking every where because I'd only have to get up 30mins before a lecture. Life B: -live at home. Basically no expenses. Get to invest entirety of student loan (different to American loans). - I eat healthily and eat enough. Don't have to buy/ prepare food. -Sleep schedule is better although sometimes I'm tired and can't do anything about it -parent doesn't let me sleep in day. -have to get up 2 hours early vs 30mins before. -traffic on commute there, empty roads on the way back and enjoy driving on way back. -nofap 52 days. Not wasting hours each day. - less lonely as have parents to talk to and cat. -interent slow. Can't " escape" by playing cs although thay may be a blessing. - I play some sports now. -------- Main differences: -before borderline depressed and very socially anxious. Distracted myself from the problem my playing CS (felt happier) and sleeping In the day. Ate poorly. --- Grass is always greener on the other side.

Definitely live with your parents if you have that option. You will save so much money and you won't have to worry about finances. I lived with my parents for the first year of university and I would have continued to do so if certain things didn't come up.

Life B I think having your parents there to support you is far more valuable. I feel like living with your parents when it's a very viable option is overlooked so many times. It also sounds like the better life style choice in financially.

i mean its good that you are being more productive with your life as you put it but if your productivity remains dependent on someone living and, if you will, lowkey managing you, you are bound to get fucked at some point.
