Because in this closed circle nowadays is not that easy. Not often teams notice young and hungry players (like NiP did with rez , plopski , lekr0) and give them a chance. Look at navi for example - they have the opportunity to sign any up and coming player and give him opportunity to gain experinece , but nah * Lets resign washedupadian and rage at him for being bad*. Teams dont want to take risks. Look at Furia players. Everyone was doubting them etc and now MiBR want to sign kscerato and yuurih - LOL. Yes , they are not very consistent , but they will gain experience eventually. Its all about luck , you have to be outstanding beast like ZyWoo , as orgs prefer to sign washed up players over and over again instead of take a risk and sign new comers and give them a chance to prove themselves and develope. Its just one f-ing closet circle.
2019-12-14 22:28
because the last thing you want to have in your team is an egoistic little queer that could possibly ruin s1mples and electronis form.

tf? i think the last thing u want rn is s1mple raging at a bad playing guardian. I dont think there is a single young good player that would have a big ego in a team with simple lol.
2019-12-14 22:42
Stupidest thing I've ever heard of. If anything newcomers are scared to do mistakes because thats their only shot and you just cant fuck it up or its byebye dreams.
2019-12-14 22:42
I think there's a lot more to it than what we see on the server. There's work ethics, chemistry with others, being willing to travel 150+ days a year, staying fit (ie not partying every weekend w friends etc) and so on. There's a reason these orgs signs these guys over and over. Because they are 100% sure what they are getting.

So they gave a chance to boombl4 but cant give a chance to sh1ro ? Or sexpower? You cant expect to have only god tier players like electronic , zywoo or s1mple. Give a chance youngsters to develop.... Just like OG gave a chance to mantuu for example (i'd say issaa too but he was already known player)
2019-12-15 02:51
I think a lot of it just comes down to networking. I don't know but I have an idea that when orgs are looking for new players, they ask their current players who they'd like to play with, who they believe has the skill and can fit in socially. I think that matters a great deal. Wanna play on Simple's team ? Become his friend and someday when a spot is open he might drop your name into the mix.

Not the point tho isn't it? VP is known for huge paychecks yet they are tier 2 at best. Many tier 1 teams for sure getting less than VP even tho they deserve more.

So , how is your life mate? Sitting on hltv and bragging about gym? Nice. Calling out people that make 15 times more money than you and WORK THEIR ASS OFF TO GET GOOD IN THIS GAME , while all you do is working a shit job you dont even like, hitting the gym and repeat? YIKES. You're the only delusional one here. "mOm i HiT thE gYM bUt tHeY sTiLl mAkE mOrE moNeY tHaN mE pLayIng GaMeS" dude get real please....gym is shit btw.

Bought a new car and new house this year. Almost done completely renovating my new house all by myself in 4 months time while still working 9 hours a day. Went 3 weeks to Egypt in September where I asked my girlfriend to marry me and she said yes. I learned skills I can actually use in real life and learned what is it to actually work for your money. You were right about gym tho, also ripped af.

Just gonna give you some tips on arguing with people. Pandify's arguments: 1. [top] CSGO players [probably] earn 15 more than you do 2. You think you're better than them for hitting the gym and doing a "real job" Your counter arguments: 1. I bought a house and car. Does not prove that you earn more than CSGO pros. Did you by an Aston Martin Valyrie or a 1997 honda civic? See what I mean? 2. There is no real work in this world. In western countires a job/career is something that earns you money. Whether your an eathlete, a cleaner, a stock broker or a CEO it does not matter. It's still a job and it's actually working for your own money. Also just because someone is an eathlete does not mean that they cannot learn "real life skills". As a final note please don't insult people. The guy arguing against you is just at bad at arguing as you are. Have a nic day.
2019-12-15 22:54
Not sure why you reply to me since I wasn't talking to you at all but I'll give it a go. 1.He asked me how my life was. I replied by saying I had an awesome year that's all. I don't make more money and I wasn't implying that at all. 2.I can bet you none of those pro's learned real life skills. What I mean with real life skills is, doing physical jobs like fixing things in your house or anything of practical use since you actually need to do it a lot and they simply are never home and everything is provided for them by management. Most of them are still socially awkward at age of 20+ proving once again they don't learn useful things. I would even go further by saying all the time spend in front of pc while doing their job is time they will never get back. Most of us have a house, wife maybe even kids by 30. At the very least have learned how life really works and how hard it can be and learnt social skills. Their life starts at 30 or whenever their career ends and it only gets worse for most of them I think.
2019-12-18 17:33
Esports is half skill / half mentality while in chess mentality IS the skill

I mean its easy to make fun of video games being a sport. Its a lot of hard work and strong mentality (for mentality , take a look at Liquid that choke non stop) , for hard work , i'll give an example , do you think gambit youngsters have a chance against Astralis? No. Why? Because they dont play as a core and they're chaotic , not because they dont have individual skills all top30 teams does have great aimers.

I just don't understand how small ass orgs are able to pull in sponsors. Nobody knows who the fuck these teams are and barely anyone is watching them play or even seeing their sponsors.
2019-12-14 22:48
It depends but a lot of them pay pretty low salaries. I mean if it's just a bunch of people living at home with their parents or in some "gaming house" it's relatively cheap as you basically just pay them enough for food. Many people are willing to work for shit salaries because they get to play CS. And I agree that it's questionable to sponsor this but sponsoring bigger teams is a lot more expensive and a lot of companies want to be in esports as young men are an important demography and not really watching TV anymore where companies used to spend money. Some companies also have budgets where they just sponsor multiple teams for a low price and then hope at least some end up being successful.

lol since when is money earned equivalent to skill? it's about being marketable as well, having fans, people wanting to watch you play which brings sponsorships in, etc. You're being way too innocent if you think salaries are equivalent to titles or performances alone
2019-12-14 22:48
yeah...that's a reason why i try watch cs go rarely...in my opinion many cs go teams disrespect fans and dosnt play seriously most of the time and they so unstable...cs go need more stable and good teams like Astralis or players like zywoo.

i don't really mind player got paid a lot. esport is 1 billion industry, it's good for player to have their fair share given to them. in fact, it's worry me if player is underpaid meanwhile the rest of the money get to corrupt people. the thing that worry me is when org give player big contract that make them became less motivated because they think they already settle for live.
