2 T10 events out of 3
2019-12-16 05:00
CAC had four teams who were top 10 at the time of the tournament, other teams all T2. It definitely was the Tier 1.5 type of event. CS summit is definitely a hard tier 2 though lmao. But I mean, considering the teams they beat at CAC, it could be considered somewhat of a tier 1 win, they went through all the top teams in playoffs.

tyloo top team?
2019-12-16 05:08
CAC was a tier 2 tournament 100 percent and CS_Summit was theirs all day long look at the team list VP LOL G2 LOL FURIA OMEGALUL MIBR with meyern LOL and OG a team without a mappool that is brand new
2019-12-16 05:11
You're looking in hindsight though. When CAC started, EG were the best team in the world based off recent performances, ENCE and Avangar were still both in the top 10 as well. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a tier 1 tournament, nowhere close, but it's not what we usually describe as tier 2. Tier 2 is really this type of CS Summit tourney where all the teams are top 20 at best and have no chance at taking top tier titles.
2019-12-16 05:14
I guess youre right our definition of tier 2 is clearly different so arguing about it is a waste of time it wasnt expected for mouz to win cac or epl so yeah overall but CAC was still more likely simply because of how poorly og was playing
2019-12-16 05:22
tbh it wasnt expected mouz to win summit with a coach and a stand in lul

Astralis is top20 as well.
2019-12-16 07:24
what, how was cs_summit theirs all along? they literally had two standins in the most difficult part of the grand finale and they played whole tournament with NaToSaPhiX who never played in a tier 1 team, and barely tier2 but he sucked With Mouz he was a different beast
2019-12-16 11:41
No good teams there they were far above the competition OG only potentially good team at that event at it's their first event

It's not a fluke, but let's see if they can keep this consistent. A team's worst enemy is the player break. Furthermore, it takes Mouz's star plays going off for them to win. Frankly, I don't see that being the case every time. This was their debut as a top team. Now that the other top team sees that they can contend for trophies, every IGL is going to be anti-strating these guys. In a highly individually dependent team, that will be a massive blow to their form.

Thought you were talking about EG there ... However, unlike EG, Mouz has both a coach an igl who knows strats and Can plan strategically and adapt in-game ...
