cs 1.6 walked so csgo can run
i never played cs1.6, but i have played csgo for a few years and have some fleeting knowledge of cs1.6 history
someone explain to me why cs1.6 is considered such a great game despite, when i play it, it seems pretty weird and bad
it was better in a sense that it was more rewarding if you were better than your oponents.
If you had good movement or just raw aim you could win games by yourself and shit on less skilled people with ease.
you can't really do that in csgo because it's more of a team-base game with the importance of utility.
1.6 movement just feels like you are just a stone brick sliding around. its so clunky imo
1.6 is cult game, but not exactly a good game. It never was.
for most of it`s lifespan, it was a fcking old game, full of bugs which became features because engine was already shit.
and for most of it`s lifespan, ppl were praying every day for a new and better cs.
csgo is by far the better game. And I think community is talking waaaay less about "pls new cs" nowadays than we did when 1.6 was 7 8 years old!
But in 2-3 years, there is need for new cs.
