Does not make sense to upgrade a 12 year old PC.. Every single piece of hardware is outdated. A new budget PC would be a lot better.

100s down a drain for a still insufficient pc that you won't be satisfied with. So no. At minimum, plan ahead for ryzen 5 2400g system. Edit: seems that 2400g is all outta stocks and thus overpriced where found. Thus 3400g is what i'd call as starting point.

If your PC is 12 yo the PSU will be nearing end of life anyway. Also, you'll be upgrading to a PC that still probably won't perform anywhere near what you want. Better to save a little more and build a budget PC new or recent second hand (ryzen 2nd gen etc).

Time to save up for a new pc. You could invest your money right now but that would just be wasting money. Maybe start looking for 2nd hand pc's from around 2016-2017?
2020-01-20 11:45
just buy ryzen 5 2400g without using VGA
2020-01-20 11:50
No, save up for new PC, current 200€ is enough for ryzen 3600, save up 500€ more and you can get decent gaming rig. pcpartpicker.com/list/zBCVDx Ryzen 3600 Msi b450 max 2x8gb DDR4 3200mhz Gtx 1660 500gb SSD 550w 80+ PSU Alternatively you can also get cheap 90$ ryzen 1600, b350 mobo and rest the same
