ok, that means rip coL. No way they will be top 3 against NIP, Fnatic, OG, Sprout, BIG, Godsent, Heroic and Mad Lions
2020-01-20 17:42

I think that coL will be a bit better than those teams, but not by so much that you can say for certain that coL would beat them. All it takes is to get upset once after losing to a team like Fnatic or NIP in the upper bracket. and you are out.

They can beat all of those, but also could lose against all of those. Sprout was 2 rounds away from knocking out Mouz at the last minor, minors are dangerous to play, you never know what can happen.
2020-01-20 18:03
online qualifiers even more dangerous

Because they would have gotten in almost for free from the NA minor, but now that they have to play at the EU one, their chances have been lowered by a shit ton. And I do say rip to all the teams who have to play in the EU minor, because it could possible be the hardest minor we have ever seen in CS:GO if teams like OG find their form and Mad Lions can keep theirs.

so much cheaters in open qualif esea must invite top 40 teams
2020-01-20 17:44

2020-01-20 17:48
Fnatic Mad Lions NiP (they suck but they always somehow hang on)
2020-01-20 17:54
heroic > nip but nip will find a way to sneak through
2020-01-20 17:55
Heroic always choke in the minors
2020-01-20 17:57
+1 didnt even make the minor last time
2020-01-20 17:57

2020-01-20 18:01
How did cheater k0nfig get a place on this million dollar roster, we'll never know
2020-01-20 17:48
i wasnt know the details
2020-01-20 17:49
Expected tbh. Just as 100T (renegades at the time) plays NA qualifier for non-major events but played in Asia minor
2020-01-20 17:53
last major with starladder you could ask to change but not with esl

They are an EU team they should play EU qualifiers not very difficult

2020-01-20 17:55
over 40k teams signed for that?
2020-01-20 17:55

2020-01-20 17:59
you will see
2020-01-20 17:59
i will see when they lose in open qualifiers
2020-01-20 18:00
i dont think they will play in the closed qualifier when they just signed up for the open qualifier
2020-01-20 18:06
nvm read nip but he actually said "np"
2020-01-20 18:08
They are allowed to play NA qualifiers for any other event besides majors. At majors, they are required to go through the EU bracket
2020-01-20 18:00
which is fucked
2020-01-20 18:00
Eh. I don't mind. Gives NA a bit of a challenge. It wouldn't make any sense for Complexity though to play in EU qualifier because they are based in North America. In an EU online qualifier they would get shit on because their ping would be horrendous. In fact I don't see how people can see this as a bad thing. If other EU teams or NA orgs see that a full/mix euro team can work in NA they may make the journey over to play in Na leagues, making NA overall more competitive as the quality of gameplay will go up due to playing with better players
2020-01-20 18:09
+1 i presume c0ntact will go to na because that org loves franchise leagues btw i think col will go to eu to play the quals lol
2020-01-20 18:10
Yeah, for the major, but they wouldn't do that for every single qualifier they wanted to enter. I do remember reading somewhere though that C0ntact did plan to be based out of NA but we will see
2020-01-20 18:12
maybe they play the b-site league and come back to eu
2020-01-20 18:13
