Nope, that's bullshit. I wasn't born in Germany. I was born in Romania and migrated when I was 9 years old in the early 90's. Germany is a very open country. I would even say that it is so open that, as a migrant, it now bothers me what views many politicians have in this country. I am far from being a racist and certainly not a Nazi. This "everybody is welcome" culture, on the other hand, is very problematic. Yes, we definitely have to help suffering people, but we shouldn't set the culture of the country aside and let "them" overwhelm us. Controlled immigration is a duty of the German state to its citizens. The protection of German citizens and the preservation of culture is even laid down in the Basic Law. Our politicians have simply failed to create the right refugee policy, which is why the Germans are now (understandably) dissatisfied.
