2020-01-22 12:43
I LOVE YOU MENS)
2020-01-22 12:55
It is my honest opinion that welders should earn more.
2020-01-22 14:04
I earn roughly the same amount as a welder straight outta high school and it's not bad money at all, at least in my country since costs of living are pretty low around here.
2020-01-22 15:23
Than it's good for you. All I wanted to say is that good welders are hard to find. If a company doing metal works finds a good one it cannot pay enough.
2020-01-22 16:05
Yes, that's true and it's like that with a lot of blue collar jobs. If you have a trade certificate (not sure if that is the right word for it but what i mean is that you have your own business and you are not an employee) you can earn a shitton of money. Manual labor rules men😎😎.

They should 100% paid better, craftman jobs in general. if u look at nowadays generation they all want to study, become influencer or just generally avoid "hard work".

their salaries will go up asf really soon trust me, atleast in USA you know the average welder or plumber age is? its like 56 most of those guys will retire and many jobs will be open, their wages will go up asf because not many young people want that career
2020-01-22 17:19
Yees fuck uni
2020-01-22 21:13
im from USA and one lady came to school to talk about her college they train you in 9 months and you be ready to be an welder, mechanic, etc the bad thing is that those 9 months costed about 30k usd like wtf if you graduate from there is a secure job tho, she says every student gets a job in a car or construction company the next day after graduation easily im thinking about it but 30k is alot money
2020-01-22 21:17
I don't know how it works in the US, but here people more tend to look at your working experience more than a graduation list. You can start off small as a welder-helper, you get your welding certificate done and as you get more experience and contacts you can get a better job or start a business since the demand from customers is very high.
2020-01-22 21:23
damn thats a good system and works because people that know how to work will get the job here in the US, you life is basically your certificates etc
2020-01-22 21:25
Yeah I had a simple job from some art guy that came from the US and he wanted us to make a few glass stands for his project to some modern art museum. Super ez. I found it fucking insane that it was worth it for him to fly over and have it made here rather than find someone to make it over in the US. We´re not some cheap ass monkeys either since we charge roughly 25dollars/hour in welding jobs.. Insane man..

tbh its good and bad as well. in germany u can apply for any apprenticeship, the company is gonna pay for it. but u have to make sure u had good grades in school, or can show any certifications to convince them to take u. i.e. u will have a hard time applying for a higher class apprenticeship when u only have mediocre high school certificate. in usa can go for anything, just need the money i guess.

its called buying stuff and losing
2020-01-26 00:43
yea, you buy and you lose money
2020-01-26 11:49
you exchange the money to other thing its not losing it
2020-01-26 13:37
its what they want you to think, but you still have no money. its as if I said in betting you exchange money for more money lol
2020-01-26 13:58
expect in betting you are most likely gonna lose the money for nothing. when buying or trading something you get benefits
2020-01-26 14:27
then it gets old and you lose value...same shit

Nice :) I also live in Vienna, great city! Theoretical or experimental? Which field exactly?
2020-01-25 13:15
experimental. I did my master thesis in condensed-matter physics. your question (experimental or theoretical) hints that you know the drill :) are you studying physics or something similar? btw, great to see HLTV members from Vienna!
2020-01-25 15:53
A little :) After my masters (Aerospace Engineering) I enrolled in a PhD at the TU in computational mechanics. The topic was multidisciplinary (friction) - so I had a chance to work with a couple of physicists and chemists. But naturally (as an engineer) my work was within classical physics, so as far as I’m concerned, 20 century physics (relativity & quantum mechanics) doesn’t exist - the universe is nice and deterministic and Newtons law describes everything in nature =P I ended up hating the PhD so I quit 2 years through and pursued a career in Software. Condensed matter physics sounds extremely badass! Are you happy with the life in academia?
2020-01-25 17:15
good choice. if you dont like it, look for something else. that takes balls. are you happy now? I mean in your new field, software? condensed matter physics was a lot of fun, but there was no long term career at the uni wien. so I left academia. I am now working in patent law :) completely different beast.
2020-01-26 20:10
Yes, very happy :) I hope you’re enjoying your work too ;)

Nope.....I don't think u understand.....In general, nations are typically characterized by economic status and key economic metrics like gross domestic product (GDP), GDP growth, GDP per capita, employment growth, and an unemployment rate. Third World countries typically have inferior results to First World and Second World countries in these areas. Most of these countries are in Africa.

That means he solves problems. Not problems like "What is beauty?", because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. He solves practical problems. Fr'instance... ...How is he going to stop some big mean mother hubbard from tearing him a structurally superfluous new behind? The answer... Use a gun. And if that don't work...use more gun.

No it's quite okay I'd say, it also depends a lot on the company, some give more some less. If I worked Nightshift as well I could earn a few hundreds more as well. I get a 13th salary as well which means I get around 45/46k per year before tax and I would consider that as quite ok.

what do u mean Myanmar?? he earns 580/month I earn 12k/month. Lmao, I have a tesla model X, 1 big house for around 700k and another vacation house for around 500k. Boat for 200K, he doesnt earn as much as me, are you retarded? 12k is a lot even for a Norwegian. Typical Norwegian earns, 5k/month, I earn triple that on a good month. So I dont know what your talking about
2020-01-23 19:29
weird flex but ok
2020-01-25 12:58
not flex, just that he said if u make 580/month u will have the same things that me making 12k/month since i am from Norway. But a house and cars in Argentina is around the same price like it is in Norway. So him saying: "He earns as much as you but you pay much less for same products", is the most retarded thing I have ever heard. Lmao. 12k vs 580 is the same apparently lmao

People are insane there, I can't explain it with words. When I was informed by my superiors that's possible to apply for a remote job position from home, I've taken actions instantly

I can imagine that was smart, I know so many musicians who know barely anything about the details of IP law. I like to think I have a basic understanding but I do get confused about music contracts every now and then (I produce sometimes)
2020-01-22 15:33
Yep.. most of the artist don't even know what they're signing for. I can understand them tho, most of the beginning artists are overjoyed with being signed:P.
2020-01-22 15:45
Yeah and a lot of people in the industry don't even talk about contracts so it's difficult to compare if you're unsure about what you're signing And of course, lawyers cost money, and I think it's definitely worth it to let them have a look at contracts before signing a deal, but some artists are just idiots and sign without thinking lol

Most of Brits would use "who". You know that pretty well, xaxa xD So cute how you dont want to admit that youre dumb who pissed himself and excusing so hard to look like even bigger dumb xD expected from 3rd Worlder who likes English English and hate American English xD xaxa

It doesn't matter at all, both Brits and Americans use the word "that", "who" is just more formal. "Expected from 3rd worlder" – no comments "xaxa" why would you use 3rd worlders' ways of writing "haha"?

Why it took you so long? :O Ofc, and who is using more formal English? Brits, no? Who is using the "unformal" English (Murican English)? Muricans, no? :O Which English you dont like? The American one (Unformal)! You finally got it? Ofc no comments, there is nothing you could say against it! Why do you use the unformal English while respecting the formal English English only?

Have I ever said that I only respect formal English? Do you really think that all Brits speak in a formal way? Both AE and BE have formal and informal styles. You've just made up some bullshit and now you're trying to prove that. "The American one (informal)" – if you think that Americans don't use formal style, then I have bad news for you. And yes, give me a source that says it's only American way to use the word "that" instead of "who" in that particular case. "Why did it take you so long?" Maybe because I have some other stuff to do as well? You should say "thank you" that I spend time on you, because you don't deserve that. But it's quite funny to make fun of such a pathetic kid, so keep it up. If Google is banned in Czechoslovakia, here you are, it's the list of 3rd world countries: worldpopulationreview.com/countries/thir..

english.stackexchange.com/questions/1120.. «Here's what Oxford Dictionaries Online says: "It is sometimes argued that, in relative clauses, that should be used for non-human references, while who should be used for human references: a house that overlooks the park but the woman who lives next door. In practice, while it is true to say that who is restricted to human references, the function of that is flexible. It has been used for human and non-human references since at least the 11th century, and is invaluable where both a person and a thing is being referred to, as in a person or thing that is believed to bring bad luck."»
