They forfeited because of all the hate they were getting. Everyone in fnatic had thoughts about quiting cs. The CS community always hated on fnatic because they were better than everyone and the hate after that game were inhuman and CS commutiy wort moment
Both teams' boosts were illegal. Technically, there were even illegal boosts going on during the group stage. The people mainly responsible for all of this bullshit drama were the admins who didnt enforce the rules correctly, from the very beginning of the tournament.
It was an unknown feature of the map, the makers didn't intend it in any way, LDLC knew of the boost but they didn't abuse it like filthy hackers and just won in a fair match. Fnatic misbehaved and they paid for it.
LDLC used it first and they didnt get any success on it, then fnatic used it and they succeeded so they kept continue using it and if it was so wrong then why the admins didnt intervene at that time. If fnatic chose to play it for the 2nd time then it would have been a fair game
LDLC used it but not abused it, know the difference. They didn't gain anything from that attempt and never did it again. Nothing to praise Fnatic for. Admins were unaware, it was an unknown feature as is said already but shortly after everything got in its place.
Was amazing to watch the faces on the LDLC players as the rounds went on.
From super happy Happy (lol) to disbelief when they finally had lost the match.
Fnatic would have won that Major.
Things like this is what made new maps, boosts fun and teams hiding pocket strats until Majors.
Wish it would have been allowed.
Just because of LDLC’s boost the whole map should have been replayed the organizers are being biased towards the ldlc side because their boost didn’t have as big of an effect and they were just being crybaby’s about how fnatic broke the exact same rule as they had broke in the first half the only difference was that fnatics boost was able to win out the game
