Life in Netherlands

I went for holidays and i liked it a lot. Is it easy or hard to move there if you want to find a job? Do you recommend?

I recommend Germany over swamp germany 😎👍

You could get factory/warehous job for like 2K a month with no requirments, all you need is basic english tbh and you could do it

Depends, you could go with a friend maybe and live in a 2/3 bedroom apartment and you would live pretty decent if you dont expect too much. Rent just depends on where you want to live

I hope factory jobs aren't like in China being there 24/7 non stop starving. Because i have an MSc and it would go to waste if i was a factory worker for all the time i would be there.

No, they are fine I used to work at a printing factory at 18, paid me nearly €14/hr and it was such an easy job nothing heavy, 8 hour work days. Now I’m a student so no more working but if you have a useful degree you might be able to use it here

What MSc? Depending on your degree / 'quality' of degree you could get a way better job than a €2K,-/m one in some sort of factory/storage-environment

Depends on where you want to live. A nice appartment can be rented at 750 at a minimum. Obviously you could go cheaper but i’m not sure if you would want that. Getting a job isn’t hard either. There are a lot of bureaus who can help outsource you do a decent workplace.

Depends on where you're going to live, you could easily get a household for 2ish people for way less than €1K,-/m

And what if I learn Dutch and have a bachelor's degree (haven't got it yet, but I am in process)?

You don't really need to learn dutch, just English is fine but it'll be helpful. No idea if your bachelor's degree will be useful though, you'd probably know better than me.

I know, it's easy to learn Germanic languages if you speak English and one more Germanic language. You just need to know how the grammar works and it'll be easy

High tax. Relaxed people. there are pros and cons as always. it is one of the better places on earth that much i will say.
2020-01-22 14:34
We have a huge shortage of houses so finding an affordable place to live is gonna be difficult, there's enough places that need people though so finding a job wouldn't be that hard I'd say. Probably helps if you are able to speak dutch

Amsterdam, Utrecht and Rotterdam are the most expensive cities to live in, your best bet would probably be to try and find a place not too far away that's easy to reach with public transport

What makes the Netherlands budget Germany? Better healthcare, higher GDP per capita, better education
2020-01-22 14:54
Shots fired
2020-01-22 15:33
Lower purchasing power due to lower real salary post-taxes, more expensive cost of living. Healthcare is better in Germany, Education is much better in Germany and big cities of Germany are far superior to those in Nederland.

I can confirm you are talking bullshit. How ? First hand experience. Antwerp looks like hobo town, just go there you will see what i mean. The Netherlands on the other hand has beaitifull sights/places and a strict garbage disposal policy.

I am not Dutch, i am simply acknowledging facts based off of first hand experience.(Garbage disposal was one out of many examples) But i have also been to Antwerp and Paris, and seeing an entire Syrian family including children sleeping on a matras in the middle of the street in front of a Cartier boutique is also not something you should be proud of. (your failed democracy has reached peak irony) A lot can be said about you guys trust me, and you know it as well. So before you pop off that last brain cell of yours you are barely operating on, i would suggest to calm down, and look at your own countries flaws, who are significantly higher than that of the Netherlands.

ur talking shit men, I have family in Belgium and go there sometimes and it’s budget Netherlands, everything is just a bit worse except infrastructure which is a lot worse and that’s what you see when walking around there. Also no tax haven men and If the Netherlands where a taxhaven, it would change nothing for you and your experience

You could, but the immigration process will be hard. We have a very strict immigrationpolicy in the aftermath of refugees trying to settle here which led to alot of 'economical immigrants'. Also you have to do an 'inburgeringstest', a test that determines your speaking and writing ability of the dutch language. When you don't want to go through all of this you can get a visa for up to two months every year. Maybe more if you can find a job here.

Just stay in Greece, work hard and make your country proud. We don't need more fortune seekers
2020-01-22 15:49
Why so rude?? He is going to work not get welfare you stupid fuck
2020-01-22 16:20
He should find a job in Greece, so he can pay taxes there and support Greece. That way they can pay the 14,6 billion they loaned from the Netherlands. Also, it's not rude.. it's direct. Most people here are like that. Hurray if he's going to work but then there are so many other reasons why we don't need more people here, housing being a big and topical problem for example. I'll take back the fortune seeking part if he's not seeking fortune.. ;) > FriendlyAlbanian > Stupid fuck
