100%, you dont really SEE the change, you FEEL it.
100%, its almost necessary to play games like csgo
i upgraded from a dell 60hz "gaming" monitor to the msi g24c curved monitor 144hz and tbh i expected way more, people hype 144hz too much but still is better overall than 60hz
It's like from Ford focus to BMW m5
I bought new monitor few years ago (144 hz gaming samsung something) when I was into all these gaming stuff and gameplay was great on that monitor. Much much smoother than on 60hz
I had to give that thing back because that motherfucker was too big for my desk and never bought 144hz again, but I can tell you it is great.
So if you're into gaming stuff, buy it
oh just forgot to say that its useless if u have around 60-80 fps. (obviously)
only if u have 150+
so if ur pc is not good enough i would recommend u to upgrade it first and then buy a 144hz monitor
From 40hz to 144 hz a solid 500%
I had more success with females
67 on OC'd old monitor from '09 to a 144hz monitor was fucking INSANE, 300% atleast
wtf people how has no one gotten it right so far
100% it’s like from zhiguli to G class AMG
can't r8 or explain, it's just better
I went from 60 straight to 240 so i can tell you there is a 1000% improvement in that and now i can hit my shots
100% i went from mge to global
i just changed the screen two weeks ago and my gameplay was smooth and pleasantly
100%, gameplay is so much smoother; spraying & awping w/ a lot of movement feel a lot better
just move your cursor on your desktop in circles on 144Hz and then on 60Hz, it's becomes very obvious
I use 75 before using 144
I can tell the big different between 75 and 144
dude i went from having to find off angles for every position because I played on a laptop with 75 hz, to beating NA pros/semi pros in faceit plenty of times, some EU "pros" like emilio, znajder etc. as well
You can become good with 75 hz, but you can NEVER become extremely good
144hz allows you to do so much more, see much more, react faster, everything smoother
when i first got 144 hz i could immedietly see the difference but after a week i got used to it and its not impressing me as much
1/75= 13.3ms per frame
1/144= 6.9(4)ms per frame
Almost twice as smooth.
Honestly, its 100%.
144 to 250 not that much.
well im proud of you hltv users, when i saw the thread I expected 20 comments like "60hz in 2020 topkek"
I used a 60hz monitor for a long time, then on Black Friday I got a 144hz monitor
It's a huge game changer
100% but you wouldn`t play a lot better.
if u play 75hz and other team has 144hz, u are in direct disadvantage. the charachter literally appears faster in 144hz bc it refreshes faster :)
144 shit, wait for some time and get 360
100%, provided your PC can get 144fps consistently.
The feeling is way better, much more enjoyable.
You won't play better anyway tho
at my home i play at 75 hz and just today i went to a gaming zone where they have 144 hz . Every thing felt so smooth .. Spray control was amazing and my hs percentage was so good bcz tapping felt easier ..u should play at 144 hz to get more amazing gameplay
If u do 75hz to 144hz it feels 25%. But when u change it back it feels 200%.
Well I will switch from 150fps 60hz to 250+fps 144hz so I really hope my aim gets cleaner but as of now I can't tell you my own perspective on how much better it gets, if anything.
from 60/75hz to 144hz is feels really difference moving and spraying wise.
it's a lot more easier.
From 75 Hz to 144 Hz there's a huge difference, it's way smoother, it just feels right. From 144 Hz to 240 Hz I can notice something but not so obvious. You have 360 Hz monitors coming out now (ASUS), I guess in 1 year or 2 a new monitor from Zowie will come up with that refresh rate (?) idk, but 144 Hz is definitly a good choice for the money, the others are too expensive for the difference atm, buy the best ONLY if you're trying to go Pro AND if you're actually good enough, if it's just for fun the 144 Hz it's perfect for everything.
