it is, not worth the price at all, and they use intel cpus and amd gpus, the worst of both worlds lmaooo. no upgrades either

Best school/work laptop I have owned so far. The microsoft surface 2 was good but like my macbook better.

Is it worth to go for 3600x or 3800x or stay with 3600 (240hz gaming)
2020-01-25 20:52
I have pretty stable +300fps with 3600, sometimes drops to around 250 so I think 3600 is enough for 240hz. I dont think 3600X is worth it because it only gives about 5% performance boost and the price is like $50 more

Which one? Sorry for taking your time, mate.

HyperX Fury DDR4 3200MHz CL16 (2x8Gb) It's fine dude I'm glad if I can help you

Cheers.

3600x is <5% faster than 3600 but slightly better fan. Maybe worth paying like $20 extra. 3800x is bad value for money, as the performance is almost the same as 3700x, read this: techspot.com/review/1899-ryzen-3800x-vs-..

A midrange i7 should do a good job, my gpu probably helps but I hover around 300fps or low 200s in intensive parts of games

sure why not, only suggesting i7 cause it's my cpu atm and it's doing a good job
2020-01-25 20:59
why u ask for upgrade when u can play the game ? what happens when u get down to 100fps ? high fps is for kids. the more fps the more resources u need to waste. I can run game @300 fps but i have locked @100fps cuz this way i get less ping(aka 5 ping weird af), +u can slightly decrease electric bills
2020-01-26 00:01
pls dont buy intel

yeah you should, i have an 4570 and have the same shit. Its about time honestly, gen4 is getting a bit old, but paired with a good gpu can still produce good gameplay. But if u want consistency, then upgrade fosho

again these amd fanboys. there is zero 3600 cpus what can get more fps than my 9600k @5.2

That test is just fucking stupid. ryzen tested with turbo and i5 not? i5 is @4.6 Stop using stupid tube videos to prove something what is clearly wrong. cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core.. intel for gamers amd for multitaskers

they both are boosting, intel from 3.7 to 4.3, amd from 3.6 to 4.2. Is it that hard to notice? you can't trust userbenchmark because of the number of people who think 2666 memory is viable
2020-01-25 23:47
only amd is boosted to max, i5 boost is up to 4.6 and in this video its only 4.3. So u trust more to random youtube video :DD ok go away amdfangay or give me something what i can really believe.

AMD better, intel gay, overpriced, doesn't care about consumers coolnation.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/0..
2020-01-25 23:54
what are you trying to say? AMD sure futureproof and better multitask potentiall, but point is which is better for cs go. i5 9600k or 3600x, and answer is i5 better for gaming and u just cant deny that. 9600k overpriced? same price but better performance in games.

intel has lower clock speeds, but that's because they get spicy, also memory could be 400mhz higher at least for ryzen

the cpus raise their clock speeds when they are being used to great extent to better frames when gaming but not waste energy while just browsing the web or whatever

i know but isn't 9600k better? atleast userbenchmark shows that

lot's of userbenchmark scores don't use the correct memory with ryzen, you need 3200 at least and optimally 3600 to get the right amount of performance from them. Also get decent quality memory not some chinese garbage
2020-01-25 23:59
lots of benchmark sites (i mean not only cpu but other hardware too)are wrong and kind of sponsored either from amd or intel or nvidia side. I cant help right now about legitime sites cuz i dont follow tech ~2 years

and it's 40$ cheaper, lower TDP, 12 threads, comes with viable cooler literally no reason to buy the 9600k
2020-01-25 23:23
9600k is same price. 255€ both in here finland. But if u buy asus i5 9600k bundle with motherboard and ddr u get 100e payback. So in reality 9600k is cheaper. No one use stock cooler becuase they suck.

amds don't they are perfectly viable, especially when you let boost do the work when need be, which saves energy too
2020-01-25 23:50
so u mean u cant use intel stock cooler at all? :DDD All stock coolers suck. some are just less shit than others.

intel coolers are so shit you can't use them, while you CAN use AMDs coolers, especially because precision boost does a better job at improving your CPU speeds than manual overclocking. I almost got away with using the R3 1200 cooler on a R5 2600 but my old case was about 20 years old with next to no intake and barely any exhaust
2020-01-25 23:57
"so u mean u cant use intel stock cooler at all? :DDD" u can for cs n shit if u dont overclock but on high demanding games u should notice loud noise.for some people its ok, some people dont like it. "All stock coolers suck." this was actually true and to be hones before ryzen cpus came out with their coolers, amd had worst stock coolers but thats in the past ~like 3 years atleast. I like those ryzen coolers thats so weird that 3 years passed and intel didnt change their stock coolers (correct if wrong)

yes and the upgrade is really easy in your case, go sell your i5 and get a used i7-4790K. Its same gen so you dont even need to change your mobo, so will be an almost free upgrade for you. Its still a pretty good cpu because of 8 threads
