gambit and immortals at krakow
i agree because ence in the Katowice Major had beated Liquid.
Avangar just won vs the fucking Zywoo +4
Gambits bestest underdog story
Gambit because of their players
People who say ence are retarded, how is it an underdog story if they didn't beat astralis?
gambit winning krakow major, they were ranked just #15 when the tournament started
gambit winning krakow
and luminosity final 2015 - 2016
Gambit, especially knowing how many times Zeus failed to win finals with Na'Vi
BIG using the crouch jump exploit to win several big matches.

qbf 2-13 14-1 vs mouz
C9 ESL Pro league 4
Optic Eleague Season 2
C9 at the major was pretty good , they were 0-2 down and went all the way
the best underdog stories came from the same eleauge major 2018 boston.
-QBF making it to quarter finals, being the weakest team on the entire major, not even close to the others.
- And ofc c9 winning the major, starting from 0-2 in group stages. aways 1 match away from elimination.
Wtf no one saying BIG in front of home crowd at Cologne 2018.
Anyone who saying anything other than Gambit doesn't watch csgo.
immortals, gambit or ence,
c9 were already like top5 team so not c9
Astralis winning Starladder Major. Such unexpected underdog mens!
Zeus story a.k.a i will not give up until i win a motherfucking major
Killed Dupreeh 2 times in a row in popdog in final rounds on Train in semis

Gambit winning the major / zeus not giving up
BIG in Cologne
It was beautiful.
And ENCE ofc
ENCE Katowice 2019
that dreamhack event when Luminosity got 16-0'd in their opening match against fnatic.
but then fought back all the way and destroyed every teams in the playoffs in bo3's.
that was amazing.
edit: they did lose the grandfinal final eventually, but I believe after this they never looked back went on to win the majors back to back. what made it special was they were known for only being best of 1 specialists, never considered a contender
gambit when they w0n major
bet on every their game and won so much
Astralis, their first major.
Underdog is a cute nickname for fluke.
No way Ence, maybe for casuals...
North vs astralis 2018 dreamhack masters Stockholm
Maybe not the best underdog story but mousesports at cs_summit 5 (especially in the final) is definently a honourable mention
clown9, gambit both had insane runs no one even predicted them to get to legend stage i think
Optic eleague season 2
NiP at both IEM Oaklands ez
Gambit/Immortals (Krakow 2017)
C9 0-2 -> Reverse Sweep -> Beating all other top 5 teams (Astralis in Groups) -> Comeback against seemingly invincible FaZe -> First Major ever for NA
Best casting/hype of any match in past 3 years imo.
Actually got an headache from the amount of nonsense replies I've read in this thread so here's my honest opinion.
1. Cloud9 - Boston
2. LG - Columbus
3. Gambit - Krakow
Cloud9 major run was nothing short of incredible. They defeated 3 of the main contenders for the major title on the quarters, semis and grand-final without even being considered a contender themselves. Nobody expected them to go that far, let alone win the whole thing in home soil.
LG was already known in the scenario but they went above and beyond in MLG Columbus 2016. People were starting to think this team could do some damage to top 5 teams given how stacked the scene was at that time, very few people actually believed they could be the winners and they surprised the world in that regard.
Gambit as third because similarly to Cloud9 they were out of the equation for the major title, with the difference that C9 actually defeated 3 of the favourites while Gambit got to play against teams of their tier up until the semi-finals where they beat Astralis, which I assume, spent most of their bootcamp working on an anti-strat against SK at that time. Nonetheless crazy run.
definitely C9 at the Boston Major, lost opening 3 matches and were playing elimination matches all the way through the tournament
I think C9 in EPL season 4 when everyone was thinking about SK big winning moment in home soil and then weird NA team won an amazing play-offs. And ofc eleague major c9 win. Maybe Optic eleague season 2 have an underdog winner
Major championship run - C9
Major underdog run - ENCE, Avangar
Championship run (not major) - EPL Mouz
1. C9 Boston
2. HR Acer Predator s1
gambit and immortals at krakow, c9 at boston
i might get killed over this but liquid at esl one cologne 2016. s1mple was just standing in and they upset both fnatic and navi, definitely a larger upset than ence imo considering the circumstances
gambit and immortals at PGL
Zellsis and his story of trying to be pro
Luminosity gaming at mlg Columbus 2016
Avangar in Krakow Major.
Hunden comeback to Mad Lions.
HLTV becoming most important csgo site.
either ence or gambit and immortals
So many people are posting decent examples like Ence or Gambit. They certainly are underdog stories, but against the competition they faced? That's hardly the best. C9 is the only one I can think of. A masterclass performance against many teams that looked amazing coming into that tournament.
BIG at dreamhack open leipzig 2020 ofc
c9 major run by far. ence comes second
A now the best downfall story, MIBR.
Cloud9 at ELEAGUE Major 2018, Gambit and Immortals at PGL Krakow 2017, BIG at ESL One Cologne 2018, ENCE at IEM Katowice 2019, Liquid at ESL One Cologne 2016.
