Boomers here are 80% nice people with Danish culture at it's peak. They really follow the old way of being Danish. The last 20% are blatantly racist and angry all the time.
2020-01-27 22:53
Boomers here are kinda annoying, driving slower on the highway, push in a line and our countries budget is gonna collapse because of the healthcare costs for elderly.

I suppose from primal standpoint yes but many people decide not to have children, even some couples and i can understand it, its a big undertaking.

Of course, the prime goal of humans is to mate and reproduce and that's logical of course but if you decided that it's not what you want it's alright, we're already suffering from overpopulation anyway. I want children for many reasons, because I want to continue the family tree and because my only goal in life is to find a wonderful wife that I love, make money and have a kid who I can provide the life I never got.
2020-01-27 23:06
We really arent in the west though, its most the east that has this issue.

yes you must stop having children because it hurts your country, also import third world because you dont have enough workforce 👌😎

Can you imagine how fast china would slip back into 100% poverty, Africa would just die out, and many parts of Brazil just wouldnt have people anymore.

No its not a right. The bottom 35% of the world should not be allowed to have kids. Thats me being nice.
2020-01-27 22:22
1 kid is ok.
2020-01-27 22:25
So we just completely destroy Africa and Asia? Good plan, very well thought out
2020-01-27 22:27
These people dont realise that one of the main ways you keep countries going is by replacing the work force otherwise countries collapse, no children or not enough and the country you live in is doomed to fail.
2020-01-27 22:29
Yes exactly. Remember when China had their 1 child policy because of overpopulation? Their economy took a huge hit and this was with 1 child being allowed. Now imagine 0 children to come in, everything would collapse lol
2020-01-27 22:31
Yeah the entire of the western world just collapses because of these morons.

When you live in poverty, kids are an economic tool to bring in more wealth and resources. That's always how development worked, you always exceed your population before the food supply leading to more development.

Why would you do that? The poor must always exist, if you've read brave new world you'd see what I mean. You can't only have a world of 1st worlders
2020-01-28 01:39
It should be an universal right BUT there should be more awareness about birth control and about the responsabilities of bringing new people to the planet

Don't think so. People who aren't fit for parenting shouldn't be allowed to have children.

I actually agree on that, having children can be their decision up until they become unfit to parent them. After that I'd rather have an AI decide whether they should have children or not. This is probably really extreme take though
2020-01-27 22:36
Well this already happens, people get their children taken away when they arent deemed fit to care for them.

Yes but doesnt matter, all nations that is developing parents just want to have one kid or two, so earth population will decrease faster after 2060.

True, especially because male and female birth isn't equal. China doesn't have enough females after their one child birth policy, their probably going to take a big drop.
2020-01-27 22:37
I dont believe that it's a universal right but a world where someone other than yourself could decide whether you can have kids or not sounds a bit weird/scary.

How about if it was AI? Is it less scary or more
2020-01-27 22:39
Well, somebody must have programmed the AI right, so I would probably still think that it's weird.
2020-01-27 23:00
if u need a permit/license to drive, u should need one to procreate
2020-01-27 22:27
No, that makes no sense, you cant start telling people when and how they have sex and if it results in children and also trying to enforce this will never work.
2020-01-27 22:28
i understand it's practically impossible to enforce, but it would absolutely be nice... it would help curb overpopulation, the kids' lives would be inevitably better if the parents were financially and physically capable of raising kids, countries would cut welfare costs, and taxpayers would pay less to families who are too fucking dumb to make the right decisions
2020-01-27 22:30
No it wouldnt be, not in any way. There actually would be a huge issue of not enough children to replace the work force and countries would collapse. In some countries in europe they are already not having enough children, China had this issue that as their workforce aged it wasnt being replaced thats why they went back on many of their laws on population control.
2020-01-27 22:33
hahahahahaha that's your concern? the workforce? more and more automation is replacing jobs every year, yet we are still working more than ever. wages have been stagnant for over a decade, housing costs are outrageous, living costs are outrageous, the wage gap is increasing, and yet you think we have a problem with people in the workforce? the problem is elsewhere, my friend, and more people sure as shit won't help that
2020-01-27 22:34
Yeah its not being replaced fast enough and its not being automated fast enough for the fall of in work force being replaced in many countries germany has this issue actually, its one of the reason they have so many migrants. The population growing has its own issue but the population falling or the workforce aging, stagnating and retiring without replacement is much worse. Then theres the cold hard reality of you cant control the drive of over 4 billion years of evolution.
2020-01-27 22:39
we have 3, maybe 4, generations worth of people that are currently having a VERY hard time making ends meet.... businesses are all about squeezing every penny of profit from the resources that are available to them, and the workforce is what suffers most. like i said in my last comment, there are sooooo many genuine problems that us younger generations are facing today, and they're only getting worse as businesses want more and more to make that extra bit of profit for their shareholders some european countries are net-0 or even in the negative for procreation, which is fine... it's their choice, they can pick and choose and it seems like those people are the responsible ones. my original comment has nothing to do with countries/people in those demographics.
2020-01-27 23:08
The fact is people need to have children, the reality is if the workforce isnt replaced every generation and then some the country will fail, every couple needs to have at minimum 2 children.
2020-01-27 22:28
i'd say 3 (if u do not want your population going down on numbers) Since a lot of people die b4 having kids, and some do not want to have any.
2020-01-27 22:32
Roughly 80-90% of people have children before they die so thats wrong. The average Family world wide has 2.2 children, the issue is in a lot of more developed countries people arent having enough children and the poorer part of the population actually make up for it so no this entire idea is stupid.
2020-01-27 22:36
yeah sorry, i forgot others countries doesnt have so many people shot by thieves.
2020-01-27 22:35
A lot of idiotic weeb communists in here. Nice to see.
2020-01-27 22:30
Well yeah no shit, they are retards on the internet that do nothing but frequent HLTV and reddit and know nothing of the real world or what its even like to interact with another human. Then theres the fact they know less than nothing about how the world works outside of their bedrooms and basements.

i would say that it is! no one should be allowed to stop you from having kids, on the other side. if thinking about the future of these kids. they should be able to be allowed to stop some people from getting kids because of their histories with, crime, drugs, alcohol etc. its difficult and i personally can not give you an answer that easy, i understand both sides.

2020-01-27 22:50
The easy and correct answer is that the government has nothing to do with it and its down to people who want a child or not, i dont care if you are a billionaire or have never made a cent in your life.

what is your opinion about the control of parenting for those who have or had massive drug or alcohol addictions
2020-01-27 23:27
Well then you take the child away until the parent is fit, but you cant stop people having children. Having children changes you as a person, it changes your entire view on the world and yourself.

first off all, i never attacked you in any kind of way. ''well then'' seems a bit attacking in my eyes second, and play with me. if you had 2 kids already and you both killed them while they had a age of 1 because you got crazy because of the crying. should you be allowed to have kids?

"having kids": Universal Right - making someone else pay for you to raise them: not a right - making someone else pay for their healthcare: not a right - making someone else pay for their birth: not a right
2020-01-27 22:41
The reality is in a society you will always be paying partly for someone else, you almost cant avoid it. If you live in a society you are going to have to pay to support it and all of its needs, if you dont like that then go and live in the woods.

It's fair as long as it's a win-win for everyone! But now, if I'm paying everyone else's education or healthcare while I can't even afford food then that's BS, my man!

In China they had a one child policy but that was taken back a few years back I think. Now China's population will be on the down low because they don't have enough women that were born during that time
2020-01-28 15:30
no, having children is a selfish act we just need enough people here to make sure that noone get's kids and the human population is kept to a minimum. Every other form of life should not be allowed to exist. If a more intelligent species comes along, which can uphold this task, they should take over and humans should go extinct.
2020-01-28 02:06
not if for example the parents were both known child beaters or some shit like that or if they have some illness which would destroy the child´s life
2020-01-28 15:22
Everyone should have the right to have a kid, but if you can't afford them you should first focus on improving your life so you can provide for them before you actually have them btw - fuck all the troglodytes talking shit about people who don't want to have kids, let people live their lives however the fuck they want
