your city living cost

How much money would you need to live comfortably in your city ? I would say in Berlin you would want at least 3k to live comfortably and have some money left for going out and fun stuff.

obv bs, in Bratislava you are living comfortably if you make around 1.800e netto considering you pay your rent by yourself (45m2 costs like 700€ in better part) and you want to save some cash
2020-02-02 20:57
700€ for 45qm 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 nt 3rd worlder
2020-02-03 10:36
Wtf its basically almost cheaper were i live, 45 is rlly small
2020-02-03 11:34
Rent is skyrocketing in Bratislava, could be like 55m2, checked for pictures and probably underrated flat a bit, but it is legit

Decentish lifestyle 1500€ 650€ 60m² incl. utilities, heating, electricity etc. in average location Internet, Phone, PC etc. 100€ Car: 300€ total Food 250€ Going out: 4x25€ = 100€ Rest: 200€ (Eating out more, larger purchases like washing machine etc, furniture, hygiene etc.) If you're frugal but nothing extreme, (would be enough for me) 850€: 350€ studio apartment all incl. Internet, Phone, PC etc. 50€ Public transit 50€/month Food 200€ Going out 2*20€ = 40€ Rest: 150€

8000 pesos for rent 2000 pesos for light 700 pesos for water 700 pesos for gas 2000 pesos for internet Then you can probably eat with 400 pesos per day. All given you're alone. 13800 Pesos per month / by 82 (Real value of the dollar) 168U$D Per Month. 13800 / 60 (Official dollar, which most can't access to) = 230U$D Per Month. Pretty cheap compared to first world standars, too bad the average salary is around 180-200U$D.
2020-02-02 20:14
Istanbul(If you don't want to live like a fucking King but still want to live better than the most) 2,5k for food 200 for the internet 500 for Bills+ rent price if the house is not yours(i'll just count is as 0) 1k for hanging around, hobbies and clothing(I count video game prices inside that) 40 for public transport if you are a Student, at least 200 if you are not Student cuz you won't use public transport and buy petrol instead. 60 max. for phone 100 Other stuff required for home Total= 4600 Turkish Lira which is close to 700€ Note: I've assume that you live in a high tier place(e.g: Kadıköy) and you house is not for rent.

Location matters a lot. Copenhagen is one of the most expensive cities in the World, but not every part of the city is that bad and if your not picky €1½K should be doable. Living comfy on the other hand that is double that or more.

5000 Swiss Francs / month its +/- 4700 Euro / month. Taxes are shit high. 4500 Swiss Francs around every Year. 4 1/2 Aparment cost around 2400 Swiss Francs health insurance u need to pay every month 330 Swiss Francs Food every month 200-400 Swiss Francs Energy (light, internet etc.) 900 Swiss Francs Most important things, at the end u have like 1000 Swiss Francs left. Now u can save something and enjoy weekends. Switzerland is expensive as shit...
2020-02-03 11:16
but its better to save 1000 swiss franc than be in france and save 200euros . 1000 swiss franc can buy you a gaming pc and a phone. 200euros won't buy you a decent phone. there is always good and bad in all situations brother. remember that. also in france taxes are high as well. arround 1 month of salary per year. much like switzerland
2020-02-03 13:03
Thats true. If i would save 1000 Swiss Francs till im 30y/o i would have 132'000 Swiss Francs. With that i can live in my homecountry Serbia pretty good (without working)... There in my City they earn 700e/month.

650€ flat rent incl inet electricity water heating etc about 400-500€ in bills, insurances, food, cigs, public transport, basicly being alive rest is spendings for going out, buying random shit of the internet etc. i dont have a car, this would prolly add about 200-300€/month earnd about 2.3-2.5k after tax (depending on the month)
2020-02-03 11:51

Switzerland, small town (nothing fancy like geneva or zurich) with 3.5-4k you survive but don't go on holidays on the other part of the world. If you make 5-6k then you can maybe save sth like 500/month depending on your rent, your car and the state you live in (taxes vary A LOT from state to state).

Netto about 2.5k pounds here in London if you don't mind sharing an apartment with some dudes. May require less if you're living outside of the city center and go to bars and restaurants outside of city center too. That money will allow you to save a bit each month, though nothing major. EDIT: if you don't wanna live in a super small apartment you'll pay at least 800 pounds for rent exclusive costs (sharing with other people). By yourself for a 1 bed you'll easily pay 1300 pounds.
