depends on what you mean by comfortably. i certainly wouldn't be comfortable living my life post-uni with worse standards than those i grew up with
alone probably around 50-55k per year
1,5k, but most people don't have even 1000€/month...
Probably 30k a year, which doesn't sound like a lot, but is hard to keep up with as a university student.
I don't know what you consider "comfortably" but a quick search says 1k-2k euros are easily enough in Berlin
600-700 is ok I guess for normal life.
Moscow, 950-1000$ in ok for me
1.6-2.6k a month depending on how many bedrooms.
1k would be enough I would say, even less if you're renting cheap place
600 euros a month is like a dream here(small city in a rural area) but with 700-800 euros you can live pretty well
10k euros for zurich a month.
Decentish lifestyle 1500€
650€ 60m² incl. utilities, heating, electricity etc. in average location
Internet, Phone, PC etc. 100€
Car: 300€ total
Going out: 4x25€ = 100€
Rest: 200€ (Eating out more, larger purchases like washing machine etc, furniture, hygiene etc.)
If you're frugal but nothing extreme, (would be enough for me) 850€:
350€ studio apartment all incl.
Internet, Phone, PC etc. 50€
Public transit 50€/month
Going out 2*20€ = 40€
2k$ would probably be enough, but you would be living below avg.
8000 pesos for rent
2000 pesos for light
700 pesos for water
700 pesos for gas
2000 pesos for internet
Then you can probably eat with 400 pesos per day.
All given you're alone.
13800 Pesos per month / by 82 (Real value of the dollar) 168U$D Per Month.
13800 / 60 (Official dollar, which most can't access to) = 230U$D Per Month.
Pretty cheap compared to first world standars, too bad the average salary is around 180-200U$D.
Istanbul(If you don't want to live like a fucking King but still want to live better than the most)
2,5k for food
200 for the internet
500 for Bills+ rent price if the house is not yours(i'll just count is as 0)
1k for hanging around, hobbies and clothing(I count video game prices inside that)
40 for public transport if you are a Student, at least 200 if you are not Student cuz you won't use public transport and buy petrol instead.
60 max. for phone
100 Other stuff required for home
Total= 4600 Turkish Lira which is close to 700€
Note: I've assume that you live in a high tier place(e.g: Kadıköy) and you house is not for rent.
Location matters a lot.
Copenhagen is one of the most expensive cities in the World, but not every part of the city is that bad and if your not picky €1½K should be doable. Living comfy on the other hand that is double that or more.
500$ (in month) if live solo
you dont need 3k per month in berlin you got scammed lul
i live in novi sad and it depends on where you live tbh
in the city center its around 900/month
outside of the center its like 700/month
1000euros in Lyon to have good normal life. if you want more luxury its 1300 , minimum wage is 1100
Paris is worst.
50$ public transport
so ~750$ Kyiv, Ukraine
5000 Swiss Francs / month its +/- 4700 Euro / month.
Taxes are shit high. 4500 Swiss Francs around every Year.
4 1/2 Aparment cost around 2400 Swiss Francs
health insurance u need to pay every month 330 Swiss Francs
Food every month 200-400 Swiss Francs
Energy (light, internet etc.) 900 Swiss Francs
Most important things, at the end u have like 1000 Swiss Francs left. Now u can save something and enjoy weekends.
Switzerland is expensive as shit...
I can live with $1000 in seoul. (Doing nothing)
Going out and ordering some foods $1500
Having a car $2000
Having a gf $10000
Around 1k$ would be enough but average salary here around 300$ a month (sometimes even less) which is honestly ridiculous
650€ flat rent incl inet electricity water heating etc
about 400-500€ in bills, insurances, food, cigs, public transport, basicly being alive
rest is spendings for going out, buying random shit of the internet etc.
i dont have a car, this would prolly add about 200-300€/month
earnd about 2.3-2.5k after tax (depending on the month)
600 - 1000 $ i guess
And the average salary in my city is around 400 $ ( but i have to admit that its not very hard to earn 1k$ here)
Switzerland, small town (nothing fancy like geneva or zurich) with 3.5-4k you survive but don't go on holidays on the other part of the world. If you make 5-6k then you can maybe save sth like 500/month depending on your rent, your car and the state you live in (taxes vary A LOT from state to state).
Kyiv - $1200 per month. But it's only for rent, food, restaurants, cinema, etc. It's a minimum for comfort life. If you want to buy smth, like a car, apartment or travel, you need more.
with family you need to have at least 1500€ to live (4members) in Skopje...
Alone you need to have at least 600 €
3k netto in berlin, alone kkkkkkk
Netto about 2.5k pounds here in London if you don't mind sharing an apartment with some dudes.
May require less if you're living outside of the city center and go to bars and restaurants outside of city center too.
That money will allow you to save a bit each month, though nothing major.
EDIT: if you don't wanna live in a super small apartment you'll pay at least 800 pounds for rent exclusive costs (sharing with other people). By yourself for a 1 bed you'll easily pay 1300 pounds.
well it depends
I am student so i pay only 60€ for dorm, if i was living in apartment, rent varies from 300-800€ per month
so i can say, that with 1k you are just fine
1000 eur to at least live "a comfortable life" in a ghetto full of drug abusers
here in my town rents have sky rocketed due to airbnb and refugees .
so for a shithole 20-35m2 (if you find one) 200-250e
normal house for family 300-450e
food 5-10e per day
electricity at least 50e
internet + phone time at least 30e
cigars packet at least 4e
super markets are very expensive
if you own car expenses snowball
median salary is about 650e and you need about 450-600e only to survive thats why nobody gets married and live with parents.
Maybe 1.5k would be nice for me after taxes
2300$ after taxes is fine for me.
Turkey / Mersin
I live alone
850 TRY for 75m2 house
200 TRY for bills (internet electric water)
750 for all food stuff (i cook myself)
11x30 TRY per Beer
going outside, car etc
i get 3000 TRY which is equal like 500 dollars its pretty enough for me
