coL LANers?

Complexity has bombed out of every qualifier NA or EU. Most of those teams are tier 3-4 (PACT, MIBR). Occasionally they may run into a decent team like BIG or C9 but most are bot teams. Now they play on LAN vs #1 team Astralis and end up 2-0. Is complexity LAN team?

C9 and BIG are the 2 best teams complexity have played and got hammered in all 3 bo3s (C9 twice). Then they suddenly destroy the reigning x3 major winners in a real environment.

He even explained himself, how they have been working on setups, tactics and new structure - making sure not to show them i Qualifiers, so that they could not get antistratted.

So have their strats been more of a pug style?
2020-02-07 23:21
Pretty sure it's a work in progress, just like blameF explained in the interviews, it is hard to built structured strats with so many ego-centered players, not yet willing/understand how to do proper teamwork ingame - pretty much the exact words coming from blameF himself, in same the interview he proceeded to praise RUSH for taking the shitty positions on maps. With time they might find a balanced path of playing pug-styled/doing individual plays and proper teamwork. Or they might not. I'm kinda hoping they'll ascend to the juggernaut, they were supposed to be

Vitality with the best player in the world qualified in the 4th EU open qualifier for the major last year, it doesnt mean shit.

Online only matters until you can get out of it. That's why we haven't seen them in a LAN environment they didn't get invited.

You don't understand the point. The qualifiers coL have lost recently are multiples BO1 in a row.

They have also lost multiple bo3s online in NA, specifically to C9 and MIBR. They also lost to BIG in a bo3 as well. They've actually only lost 1 bo1 if hltv is correct?
2020-02-07 23:20
C9, MIBR and BIG in BO3s? Nothing unusual.

Normally i would agree but they've lost to C9 4-0 in maps. BIG I can excuse as they seem back to tier 2 level at least, but MIBR has been trash tier and they got destroyed by them.

I think astralis is just bad. they're not gonna be on top 5 team this year. zonic retire asap.
2020-02-07 23:14
I think it's rather that they prepared very well for this game and against Astralis specifically. Also Astralis hasn't played a match in 2.5 months, maybe not the best idea...

They prepared a lot for this one match and Astralis always not that good at Begining of tournaments, you can’t prepare that much for those online matches
