FalleN |
Brazil raffortal
Give me some help; I can invest 2.500 USD, no more than that, also need the monitor, only have peripherals. Also has to be easy to buy, only staying 15 days in USA. Thanks for the help.

Should i invest more in GPU or CPU? 144hz monitor?
2020-02-12 03:58
144hz 100%, gpu if u wanna play pugb cpu if u wanna play cs, but really if u got 2500 then u will get more than good enough gpu and cpu

Thanks.

dont listen to this guy, pubg is really cpu intensive with low settings (im asumming you play both games low) so you will need rly good cpu for both games
2020-02-14 14:38
GPU is definetely also heavily GPU dependent, with a 2500 budget it will be plenty enough for a good cpu and gpu

You could literally build anything you want with that budget. Peripherals and all.
2020-02-12 04:02
I'll build you a PC that I can guarantee will get 700+ fps in the CS:GO fps benchmark map (typically 400-700 in 5v5) with a 240hz monitor for $2500. :)

And what would that be? Also in a 5v5 game with action on 128tick server every pc will drop under 300.

human can only see 24 fps, what are you talking about?
2020-02-16 12:29
pcpartpicker.com/list/yGrQcq Something like this you can't go wrong with. It's really up to you though. Also you may have some deals in local areas. Imo pinching pennies is worth it at any budget but that's up to you Edit: all the parts should be avaible on Newegg or Amazon and should deliver within 15 days but I'd recommend going to a microcenter if there's one near you and seeing if they have any deals.
2020-02-12 04:24
Thanks dude, god post. +1
2020-02-12 05:05
pcpartpicker.com/list/C7XcGc Edited it for some slight improvements. 240hz monitor, 2080 ti, 3900x. I cut back on the psu (semi modular model was 30$ less) and changed the gpu model. I don’t know if this’ll help at all but just tryna expand the pc master race
2020-02-13 03:46
Thanks man. Actually i'm not buying neither the monitor or the case because lugagge and tax matters; I'm buying the others parts right now. Thanks very much.
2020-02-14 07:03
Glad I could help. Let me know how it goes or if you need any help
2020-02-14 14:19
240hz is a terrible idea if he plays games other than CS. Playing on 1080p when you have a 2080ti is basically a crime.
2020-02-14 14:25
He says he wants to play pubg and cs. In pubg even a 2080ti won’t have an easy time getting 144fps on 1440p. In cs a 1080p 240hz is better for obvious reasons.
2020-02-14 14:32
what's the point of 2080ti when you play 1080p? 240hz only makes sense if you have two monitors. for a 2.5k PC a 1440p/144hz monitor should be standard.
2020-02-14 14:37
0/8
2020-02-14 18:17
8/8 i would rather play pubg in 1440p and 100-120fps than pubg in 1080p and 144fps

Pretty good choice of parts, all things considered. He might try to get a discounted 3600MHz memory kit if possible (seems to be the sweetspot for Zen2) and 650W is cutting it a bit close, but well done with picking the brand/model. Kudos from me mate

This monitor is not very good, best 144hz is xg2402. But i think you can cut somewhere and get 240.
2020-02-12 05:27
Yeah that was kinda just a placeholder bcuz he should be able to get some in store discounts being in the US

second build is legit he does not need any more research tbh.
2020-02-13 06:32
no rgb club man of culture as well change 2080ti for 2080 super and get 240hz monitor? btw +1 would recommend
2020-02-13 03:33
I only recommended the monitor because it’s cheap and I think he should be able to get some deals at local stores (especially if there’s a micro center). You are right though, the monitor would be a bottleneck in this system. It would definitely be better to go with a 1080p 240hz or a 1440p 144hz. I recommended the 2080 ti mainly because of PUBG. I don’t really know what it uses, but I guess it’d be a more gpu intensive game.

Yes probably. I don't know much about Mobo. Just chose a cheap x570 for gen 4 pcie and out of box support.

It's enough but not Best value. Choose 3800X or 3600(X). The 7 doesn't have similar value per price

Good to know, i thought that 3700x > 3800x all day

it's a bit of a waste to spend 2500$ just to play CSGO and PUBG. You can literally play any games with that in ULTRA 100 fps and if it's just for CS, go for the BenQ monitor. best colors and monitor settings
