Not saying to pay for it, YT just have far more songs than any other platform, good description, free to use, also you can download videos for your collection which is a plus.

It doesn't have many of which I like the best, it only has the pop songs or those who made any impact on the industry at all. Most of my favorite songs are obscure in history so YT all the way.

Won't change much, I'm certain for what I like and exceptional talent won't bring it back.

For synth styles, I like Gary Numan, Depeche Mode aaaand, guess that's all.
2020-02-17 05:15

Alphaville, Michael Jackson, Prince? Those fellas are even more common. I'm not into electronicised sound, I'm sticking with soulful styles that are filled with human emotion.

those guys arent remotely even in the same genre lol

If you mean a monotone kind of singing and synth on the upfront of all instruments, than you could say that, but they have songs of the same style so I pile them up together, they were around the same time too.

i dont think any of this playlist is from that time period. this is all modern takes on sounds and feels from back then. lots of synth and 80's style vibes only a few songs have vocals

I can appreciate the style, it could be the only electronic style that has a certain vibe to it, isolation, loneliness and realisation. Very distinctive sound, it's also backed by classic acoustic instruments which of course helps it a lot. But not mine, not mine.
2020-02-17 05:24
lol yes... lots, if not most, of the songs on that playlist are like that
