I am speaking about your own. When you're dirty and clean yourself you're laying in your own dirty water.

Just shower because bath uses too much water and I live in South Australia. If I ever do bath I rinse after in the shower quickly.

2020-02-18 10:37
none of those, i clean myself on land, if u know what i mean 😉
2020-02-18 10:38
For washing yourself? Shower Everytime ive tried to use bath i get bored after 5 mins in sitting there, so i wasted like 10 mins for filling up the tub just to sit in it for 5 mins + you have to shower before bath not to sit in your own dirty water which defeats the purpose of even having a bath.

2020-02-18 12:03
lul ppl shower for 10 minutes and think they safed water compared to taking a bath. pls brain
2020-02-18 12:08
Even if people would take 10m showers (which I think is closer to 5 irl), most shower heads have a max flow rate of 10l/min or under, so that's still only 100 liters, which is about the same as filling a bathtub to half capacity (to which you will likely add some extra hot water when it cools off), so yeah, you actually do save water with showering.
2020-02-18 12:19
average shower time is about 10 mins in germany (and I think it`s +- like that in 1 world), and if you dont use special heads you have flow rates up to 18l/min. so it`s 180 l vs 180 l (= bath tube). facts
2020-02-18 12:22
Yeah, shower heads made in the 19th century sure. Also, you still add extra water to your bath once it cools off, so you're still better off with showering.
2020-02-18 12:24
"Yeah, shower heads made in the 19th century sure." no fag. regular rain shower heads you get with every first class bath. "Also, you still add extra water to your bath once it cools off" prove it or...
2020-02-18 12:31
I couldn't find data quickly about EU, but in the US, you can't even buy heads with flowrate above 9,5l/min. Also: "According to Home Water Works, in "an average home, showers are typically the third largest water use after toilets and clothes washers. The average American shower uses 17.2 gallons (65.1 liters) and lasts for 8.2 minutes at average flow rate of 2.1 gallons per minute (gpm) (7.9 lpm)."
2020-02-18 12:36
special heads for murica. they need special heads because they are stupid. they basically all have central water heater in their house and if 4-5 ppl live there and take shower etc, they dont have enough hot water. T1 shower heads in europe without labeled safe technics = my numbers. also the 180l of bath tube are brutto. in average ppl need 80 litres because of displacement. stop now mad fuck!
2020-02-18 12:49
Ok yeah, so let's just ignore half the population of 1st world countries and focus on a made up shower length, to make your point somewhat valid. You work for the MSM by any chance? Also, the new 'T1' shower heads add air to the flow reducing the water consumption. "Water consumption reduced to 9 l/min on overhead and hand showers (green products even consume only 6 l/min.)" - this is from hansgrohe.
