Why most of them are stupid and uneducated human beings ? Imagine being so dumb that the only job you can work in is retail, lol.

If you're teenager invest in self education rather than this, it will be better in the long run. Hell, even internship will do better in some decent company.

You have parents to support you from the young age, if you don't have parents then you can easily make money online. I used to do photography when I was young and I made from 200 to 500 euro per photoshoot. There are other ways.

Yeah, but you had at least a decent camera & computer. Not everyone has parents, friends or someone who can support them either by paying them or lend them those relative expensive things. Your are probably baiting, and our answers are pointless, but if it's isn't the case then you are probably just narrow minded. Some high educated people have also to go for kind of jobs as their studies don't bring them decent jobs as there are no jobs left in their sector (humanities studies have this problem). Also, msot of those people are involded in retail only a small part of their life, as a start as they need money for something else (travelling, start their own bussiness etc)
2020-02-19 14:11
True, photography is honestly pretty easy money (getting more competitive nowadays though), but if you can barely pay rent how can you invest in a 1000+ dollar camera, a decent laptop, and editing software?

I'm new to video games in general and it's surprising to me how many people who play video games are losers in real life. I quit gaming after 15 days because it wasn't productive, now I'm just here to laugh at some losers who can't do anything in their life except playing video games and running from real life problems.
2020-02-19 14:38
I don't play CSGO anymore either because it's a waste of time. But, you're probably in middle management dude. That job definitely doesn't take up all your time no matter how committed you are to learning or whatever.

idk. A lot of people from rural areas without proper education coming to cities and have no other options. Or young people without college degrees (which is very common in US since college cost insane money). Driving with Uber/Lyft is a better option for such people imo.

If they don't want to be there then they can develop skills in order to work on better jobs but guess what, they are just lazy and are losers in real life. Self education is a key but people are just lazy. I worked hard for my job and now I get what I deserve and no, I didn't get my ass filled with money when I was a kid, my father is a banker and he explained to me the value of money and how to work for it. Your assumption that I was a spoiled kid is wrong, sorry to disappoint you.

90% sure this is the kind of guy who fires random people to cut costs, without any regard for long term growth. Then, thinks he's some of kind of business genius when short term profits grow.

As someone who works in software. It's usually the people who clock and clock out and have a good work life balance that create the most functional, stable code. Even if they're slow at it. 16 hours a day grinders usually produce something erratic and difficult for future engineers to modify. But, they do the job quickly. You wouldn't know anything about this though.

I work with C++ and Python sometimes and I know what you're talking about but that's not an excuse for them to not do their job properly. And you're saying that my jobs will get replaced in the future ? Look at you, all you do is 90% copy pasting 5% actually coding something and other 5% getting this together to work properly. Then it goes to QA and he has to fix all of your lazy coding. That's why I fire people who are not doing their job properly. Have you ever even worked for a single company for more than 4 years ? Anyway, don't answer, I'm done talking here.
2020-02-19 15:38
I think your hiring process is seriously flawed if your engineers are copy and pasting NINETY percent of your code and they spend just as much time coding as debugging (debugging should be 90% of the process). And the code still ends up a buggy piece of shit on the way to QA. Maybe you should fire some people in HR next big boss man. And yes I can almost assure you BI can optimize costs better than you in 10 years.

Lmao you're in a generic management role bro according to your bio. What makes it worse is your company relies on the food delivery equivalent of retail workers to make money. Pretty much all these generic management roles are gonna be taken by ANN's dude lol.

I can see you clearly never worked in a business field before. I have a team of 13 people who are working for me. Basically my job is to keep contact with other companies, plan meetings and deliver long presentations on how we are gonna increase our income at the lowers cost with maximum profit. Could ANN do that ? I doubt that.
2020-02-19 14:46
Bro I've literally read article after article from business people and data scientists that jobs like yours are going away. If you think an ANN or a Business Intelligence algorithm can't optimize profits better than you can, you're dreaming lmao. The only thing from your duties that a robot can't do is maybe keeping contact with other companies, and that's assuming these are personal contacts and not just business calls. Are they gonna keep you around just for that though?

So you would rather read some articles instead of doing an actual research about that topic ? People like me who manage other people will never be replaced or go away. And no, there are no such thing as "business calls" only face to face meetings with companies from all over the world. As I said, please do your research about that topic or actually listen to the guy who has been working in this field for 3 years already.
2020-02-19 14:54
Reading articles and studies from distinguished people with phDs in their field doesn't count as research. ok. Bro no one's gonna keep you around just to do face to face meetings. Tbh they might have the data scientist who automated your job away do the face to face meetings lmao.

As I said you clearly never worked in a business industry. I do way more than that, they hired me in late 2016 and since then our income has gone up to 16.37% and it's still growing because of me and my crew. I'm also one of the best friends from one of the CEO's. So your point is kinda irrelevant. This conversation leads no where and I will just stop replying here.
2020-02-19 15:01
The fact that you think you can do a better job than future Business Intelligence algorithms (10 years in the future) says everything I need to know. If you're being honest about how high up you are, you may keep your job or the data will just go to board of directors and they'll make the decisions. Who knows.

Bro working in retail in 2020 is dogshit as a young person. Some bitter Boomers are finally realizing that they're getting really old, and they're taking it out on any young person they can find. Mostly retail and fast food workers. I'd honestly rather dig through trash cans to collect cans for scrap to sell.

You're literally just hating on them because you know you're going no where in life. Simple as that. To justify your loser self you hold some sort of pride that makes you think you're somehow above those working in retail when in reality you're just a stuck up loser that mindlessly posts on hltv trying to circle jerk your ego. Imagine hating on people trying to better themselves in life. Fucking disgusting behaviour.

Seems to be most of them are in retail because they either can't get a job elsewhere, or because there aren't any jobs closer to them that would allow them to pay their bills each month.
