I think you're probably too young to understand what i mean. Yes having deep pockets and having economical safety is an amazing change, regardless of where you live. But buying 10 watches compared to the only one that i have, buying 10 cars compared to 1, 100 shoes and clothes compared to what you have, thats irrelevant. Ultimately what matters in life is what you live. You wont take all the shit you bought to the grave, there is no afterlife.
Here people work lots of hours but work in a bad way, it's not strict, deadlines and projects are always late, things you schedule with friends and family are always late. You need to take a breath? Go ahead, chill. Chill life and chronical petty corruption are the number one reasons why we're not a rich country. And if i complain a lot about corruption, i dont complain about chill life at all, i rather be poorer but having the possibility to apreciate life compared to being rich and never stop/being a cold robot.
