Stewie and Tarik to mibr actually improved SK/mibr compared to what they were before they joined.

signed up 2019-08-18 SK was complete dogshit when Stewie first joined. With Stewie and Tarik they made a few finals at tier1 events and played Astralis really, really close.
2020-02-21 22:41
+1 they were in top 5 at that time

I think if Ska had stayed retired and they had been able to go after NAF after he left Renegades in February 18. C9 might have gotten better and kept Stew and Tarik on the team.

That SK lineup was doomed to fail because Stewie and Turok were effectively a last resort after the s1mple and flamie move collapsed. I think even the SK players didn't believe in the project. Imagine expecting one of the best players in the world and then getting some mediocre NA player instead.

lol no. They worked their asses off in that team and tried to make it work. Also not getting s1mple and getting Stewie meant another direction entirely for the team anyway. Getting s1mple means you get a starplayer and a baiter (like all starplayers) who needs to be made space for and will then do great things for you. Getting Stewie means you get a guy whos making the space aka goes in first every single round. The main problem was that none of the SK players were in the individual form to capitalize off that. Fer and Fallen especially both just sucked.

flag checks out. With Stewie and Tarik they played well in tier1 tournaments and took Astralis to the limit multiple times. Now they utter trash, much like right before Stewie joined.

You can’t compare that success with the one they were having before that shitty move. Although we can agree they are shit now

are you fucking stupid lmao, Im obviously not saying they were better with Tarik and Stewie than they were when they won majors. My whole point is RIGHT BEFORE Stewie joined they were WORSE than they were with him and Tarik. They literally lost to random nonamers at WESG before Stewie joined. It was their lowest point by far. This entire thread is about the WORST roster moves. A roster move that improves a team cannot be the worst roster move. Got it now?

Devil was a stand in crackhead. And I am not saying that the problem was removing Fifflaren, the problem was adding Maikelele. Before him Nip was arguably the second best team in the world and after he joined they only reached that grand final (not performing that well) and then died

This one single roster move destroyed the careers of five players: allu suNny xseveN sergej Aerial Well, allu is to retire soon anyways but too bad for talented sergej, and the two blue-collars xseven and Aerial. ENCE with Aleksib was the only roster they were ever going to find success

There's no statistics to indicate that imo. Immediately after the nerf they flopped in Cologne, losing the bo1 opener and then to second best team at the time, Vitality. After that got comfortably into the finals of IEM Chicago and got crushed by Liquid who were unbeatable at the time. Then cruised into the top8 of Major. For me it just feels that people and the team started to expect a little bit too much considering they've never been close to other top5 teams in terms of firepower.

aleksib just bot

ahaha, no they werent they did good on major and after kick they sucked immediately, but its reasonable to defend them by someone with Binland flag

Removing golden and lekro from fnatic after winning iem and wesg

I don't think you know the full story behind those IEM/WESG wins. Fnatic already decided to kick Golden before IEM Katowice, so they didn't even train with him before the event. Instead, they just showed up and treated the whole tournament like a pug match. Flusha and Krimz hardcarried Golden and Lekr0. Both Flusha and JW have said that Golden improved a lot in Cloud9 and is a completely different IGL, which is why they've given him another chance. Lekr0 has had too many chances. He's tier 2 trash.

Honestly, the aleksib move isn't the worst. It's exaggerated by the decline of the scoped rifle meta, and by sunny being complete dogshit. NaVi have made far worse roster moves by bringing back Zeus and then GuardiaN. They've literally wasted the prime years of the greatest player to ever touch CS.
