Greenland President_Hunden Why is the average republican crying about this? You are not rich and never will be. Just accept the fact that BERNIE SANDERS is the best thing that will happen to america.

Theres a big difference between income tax and total tax. You don't pay anywhere near 50% in income tax for average wage. But the total tax preassure could be over 50%

Sweden hosk1 look at the Danish taxation for workers. it's basically 90% income tax

Taxation is theft, and anyone who disagrees is a dirty commie
2020-02-25 01:17
LOLOL! - Taxes are how the military gets paid, how teachers get paid, how police officers get paid, how fire fighters get paid, etc. Should we just get rid of the military entirely? Get rid of all police officers? If you want to participate in society you have to abide by the laws. The law states that a system of taxation exists. It is NOT theft because theft is illegal. Taxation is 100% legal. If you think it's theft you can either decide not to pay them (which will result in automatic garnishment of your wages and likely prison time), or leave the country. You have no other choices.
2020-02-25 03:30
and who pay the people who don't work in public offices? If rich people are more taxed, who do you think will pay for that? the rich themselves? XDD
2020-02-25 03:48
There are 3 different types of employees. There's those that work for the government, that are paid as a result of taxes. There's employees who work for a business, who pays them a wage/salary. The last type are those that are self-employed. They pay themselves.

Of note: Under Bernies plan if you make $250,000 a year or less nothing changes.
2020-02-25 03:27
He even admitted taxes would increase on anyone making 29,000 per year. This is a propaganda post. It’s not accurate. I wouldn’t expect Bernie bros to know the difference though.
2020-02-25 03:44
Bernie did NOT say that taxes would increase on $29k, and if you look at his plan it also says no. Snopes looked at that and also said it was false. btw: I'm not a Bernie bro. I was going for Kamela Harris.
2020-02-25 03:46
First, using snopes as a source is a joke. Second, if you read the whole thing it agrees that Bernie wants to increase taxes on anyone making 29,000 annually. He just didn’t put it at 52% or whatever number they had.
2020-02-25 03:48
1. If you knew how Snopes went about investigating claims you wouldn't say such hogwash. 2. If you go to Bernies own site....;0;s That you'd so easily get sucked into the meme and believe it.. and make snide remarks to Snopes... tells me you are a conservative.
2020-02-25 03:52
Snopes investigative technique: ask dnc, “what should we say”, say whatever dnc replies with. Did you even watch the Nevada debate? He openly admitted it. Are you so blind to the truth that you won’t even trust the person who is being referred to? Judging by the way you’ve provided no factual evidence (even provided evidence that agrees with what I said but now you won’t admit that), and that you blindly believe an 80 yr old career politician campaigning for his 4th house, I’m certain you’re a Bernie bro.
2020-02-25 03:56
"ask dnc" LOL. Good one. "Did you even watch the Nevada debate? He openly admitted it." I watched some of it. Did you see Bloomberg? He fumbled around a lot. When millions are watching the mind is generally not sharp. His official position is what he's posted and what he's said in his stump speeches. AGAIN, I'm not a Bernie Bro. " Judging by the way you’ve provided no factual evidence" You mean other than Snopes and his own site? "you blindly believe" I really don't. If his actual stance were that those making $29k or less would pay higher rates then I DEFINITELY would have a problem with him. 100%. It's not that I "blindly believe", it's that he's been saying for years that those on the lower end should pay LESS taxes, not more. That's ALWAYS been his stance.. for decades. That's his whole schtick. 'Corporations and millionaires are taking everyone's money and those on the lower end can't survive' has ALWAYS been argument. That you don't know that is a problem. It tells me you really don't know him. At all. Decades, dude. In 2016 I voted for Bernie in the Primaries. I'll admit that. I care about the poor and I also liked his stance on Universal Healthcare. However, I'm not a Bernie Bro. Misrepresent another candidate and I'll stand up for them too. And there's plenty of scorn I throw on actual Bernie Bros. Many are downright toxic on a level that makes me angry about many Trump supporters. I don't have a huge problem with Bernie, I just don't think he can win in the General election. I liked Kamala Harris. I like Amy Klobuchar. I like Warren. I'm okay with Pete Buttegieg (sp?). I think Bloomberg would be good, but his debating skills are apparently VERY rusty. I'm okay with any of them winning, and that's not something a "Bernie Bro" would say.. which is another problem I have with them.
2020-02-25 10:39
You are certainly a Bernie bro. I have no doubt at all anymore. You still are missing one important thing, snopes even said I was correct. If you know how to read and you trust snopes then you should have no issue admitting you were incorrect. He also admitted raising taxes on people making 29k or more a year on the cbs late night show as well as on the Nevada debate. If you can’t trust the person himself I don’t see any necessity to continue this. You won’t change your mind. I don’t really care if you do. Bernie can’t win a general election against trump. And what in the hell does Bloomberg have to do with anything? Warren just imitated Chris Christie Marco Rubio’s suicide-murder of 2016. They’re both irrelevant now and just sucking up votes. Again though, do tell what Bloomberg has to do with Bernies tax policy?
2020-02-25 12:23
"You are certainly a Bernie bro." Okay, then. "He also admitted raising taxes on people making 29k or more a year on the cbs late night show as well as on the Nevada debate." Show me a link to the cbs late night show. He did NOT in the debate. Pete B. made the claim twice, but Sanders did not say it at any point. You can go to YouTube to find the debate, click the "..." and then look at the transcript and do a search. It comes up twice, both times by Pete. "You won’t change your mind." Evidence changes my mind. If I had solid evidence he really intends on raising everybodys taxes and not concentrating the rate increases on the wealthy, then I'll concede the point. "Bernie can’t win a general election against trump" I already agreed it was unlikely. If I were a 'Bernie Bro' I'd scream and yell that of course he would. And that's why I was going to Kamela.. I think she would have beaten Trump. "what in the hell does Bloomberg have to do with anything? " Not a thing. Neither does Warren or Klobuchar. You missed my point. I inserted them because I was making the point that I think any of them could do well against Trump.. better than Bernie.
2020-02-25 13:25
That all said... IF we were ever to get Universal Healthcare, it's likely that EVERYBODY's taxes would have to go up, no matter who is elected. That would be offset by the fact that nobody would be having monthly premium payments, co-pays, etc. so the net effect would be EVERYBODY would be covered and nobody would be going bankrupt because of health bills.. which every year is the #1 cause of bankruptcies. And from a business perspective, that's a good thing. Today businesses pay into employee health plans. If they no longer have to do that it means they don't have bill that cost into the cost of goods produced and we could compete better on the world stage.

dont tell me u actually believe that bullshit chart he posted.....EVERY payscale will get a 4% base tax increase and anything over 29k will have a increased taxed rate...he also wants 15$ a hour for the math....15$ a hour x 40 hrs a week x 52 weeks...that puts EVERYONE over the 29K a year tax bracket which will INCREASE EVERYONES TAXES THEY PAY....u will make more making 11$ a hour over 15$ a hour under his tax plane....Even Trumps tax break he gave hurt people in the gave everyone extra money everyweek in the pay check but at the end of the year that put people into different tax brackets so they ended up not getting back asmuch in taxes at the end of the year instead of getting back alot of money
2020-02-25 16:09
"dont tell me u actually believe that bullshit chart he posted" I believe that's his intention, sure. It doesn't mean it's realistic. That's a different question. "Even Trumps tax break he gave hurt people in the gave everyone extra money everyweek in the pay check" Most of those actually winding up with more money in their paycheck were making over $100k a year. My paycheck didn't change. The tax break didn't really change brackets. Most were provided to larger businesses, who spent the majority of the savings buying back stock instead of hiring. "$15/hr. " - Do some research on the places where they put higher minimum wages in. it has hurt some small businesses due to having to pay more per hour for employees, but overall it's resulted in a raising of standard for everyone. And what's most important in that debate: If a person working a full time job cannot rise outside of poverty, something is wrong with the system. All $15/hr does is put a person at that poverty line. Nobody's getting rich.
2020-02-25 16:21
This rich minority happen to be the people who are in charge of medium or small business, entrepreneurs, and companies which create jobs for the rest of people. If they happen to be heavily taxed as this ingenous man proposes, there will be mass dismissals, lower salaries, because the rich won't be the ones losing their money obviously, thus increasing unemployment and poverty. Leftists don't understand the basics of economy, they think is the duty of state to provide money and welfare.

2020-02-25 16:10
This isn’t even close to true. Even Bernie himself has admitted he will increase taxes on anyone making more than 29,000 annually. He also wants to increase minimum wage to 15$ so everyone makes 30,000 annually. This information is incorrect. Thread reported for spreading fake and misleading information

how so?
2020-02-25 12:38
We’d immediately enter a recession due to market uncertainty, and we’d stay in that recession because of his stock trading tax. He’d pull out our military from all current conflicts (something he has said he’ll do many times), which will give Russia and China huge amounts of power in the Middle East and Africa. His domestic tax policy would anger people. People happen to not appreciate having increased taxes (especially if they’re only making 29k per year). He would lessen US economic sanctions on Venezuela, Cuba, and China as well. And his “make everything free” strategy won’t work. For example, why pay off student loans but not car loans? Essentially what I’m saying is he’s an ultra-isolationist and even enacting one of his policies would not only wreck the us economy but also wreck our position as a global superpower
