Why the most follow scene (BRASIL) is still casted by gaules in his bedroom.
I don't say bad things to him at all, just trying to understand why there is no real casting offices and group of casters ?
With this number of viewers they could probably find the good sponsors to build a pretty descend casting studio will all the stuff they need to creat good quality content ?
Brasilians explain please
I know but the viewer experience could be way more exciting imo
I'm less excited my a guy alone in his bedroom than a full quality studio + load screens + stuff prepared among the matches like stats, talkshows, debates, hilights etc
I kind of disagree. English caster are just some weird elitist circlejerk and they constantly want to make CS about them. In general there is far too much stuff around the game and most of it is really shit. e.g. I honestly don't understand why people watch analysts. player interviews are even worse, so boring... it feels like the difference between "bedroom casting" and some expensive studio is surprisingly small.
I get your point
Got to admitt that I almost only watch french caster and I kind of like it because it's a mix of friends casting their favourite game and professional sport casters.
I don't know how to explain but sometimes the profesionalism they show is very interesting
Even if i still like to watch bedroom streamers/casters
yeah, another factor is that streamers in general intentionally try to appear "normal" or even poor. gaules has like 10k subscribers, so he is make 35k/months from that alone, plus sponsors and so on. he is probably earning just as much if not more than the best paid pros. he could easily afford to rent a room and have his own studio.
some people like to hear some emotionless analyst break down a round and point mistakes, improvements, and shit like that, most Brazilians prefer to laugh, give players nicknames, call gaules fat, and watch a game in a chill stream.
No, it's not. He is very charismatic and helps a lot of people during the stream. He has a sensational life story about overcoming. He achieved a lot by going out of nowhere and now he helps people to understand that it is possible to win and conquer things.
we have some good casters but gaules was a pro player in 1.6 and he give us a verry good view of what is going on and what will hapen so every one want to see hin, becouse a caster is not better than us at the game and will talk shit, so the best thing is to see a pro player explanation
It just makes sense in your head. Egypt's history has far more massacres than Brazil's. Do you think you are better than someone? Put yourself in your place. Your country has no representation in sports and comes here to offend people from other countries. If you want a little attention, continue with this childish behavior.
We do have br casters but they don’t have their own studio. They either get permission from the event and cast from their houses or the event gets them a studio.
Also, Gaules isn’t a caster he just kind of watches the game together with his viewers while he tries to be funny
He's not a caster, he's entertainment. A guy who was a top 1 player in Brazil (2002-03), represented us a lot in the competitions out there in the cs 1.6, and today he tries to be funny on live. It has nothing to do with normal broadcasts. Good Brazilian casters: Bernardo Bida, Pablo XRM
I prefer to watch official streams mostly of the time. But, I can say it without problem: gaules is really funny guy... sometimes I just get into his stream to chill, laugh (a lot) n watching cs... but, I still prefer something more professional, u know?
just gaules get this many viewers, thats why esl choose him to have the exclusivity rights instead of the big organizations. gaules always gets more views than big ass orgs. people enjoy watching with him.
the broadcast orgs will always go for who has more viewers. they get more money from it.
but i do think we should have a "professional" studio to broadcast for those who prefer it. but thats not gaules fault. if esl has a exclusivity policy, thats up to them.
