Depends, I think men taller than about 175 don't even think about it, maybe men under 170 are a bit insecure. And yes I've heard this before lol, also americans that thought they were tall, went to the Netherlands and were just average there
Not as far as I know but I have to say I've only been in Groningen like once in my life. You'd probably feel better in Amsterdam or Rotterdam as there's more people from different backgrounds there, so more height variety
Avg: 180.7cm (5'11)
Me: 193cm (6'4)
This ranks me in the 95.1 percentile for height in my country, meaning about 1 in 21 people on average would be taller. You can check yourself against your country here: tall.life/height-percentile-calculator-a..
America isn't a country and there is no such thing as an "average American" because America is a borderless economic zone flooded with whoever wants to be there at any given time. Therefore, "our" average height has gone down because Mexicans and Guatemalans and so on are typically very short. So heritage Americans like myself with strong European genes are like giants compared to the tiny low IQ brown invaders that have flooded our nation over the past 30 years.
