If you were stating a fact then you would need something to back your supposed "fact" up. And considering "Trust me bro" or "It is a fact bc i say so" is not enough. You are the one claiming something and so the burden of the proof is on you. No argument can arise if you make a claim and then actually give no real arguments as to why that is. There is nothing for others to refute or argue.
2020-02-27 15:20
You stated an opinion you are convinced to be true. Your conviction doesnt make it a fact, even though my personal opinion might be the same as yours.

Ur mot stating a fact, ur stating a claim. First you need to establish a fact. From what you show you havn't done that. That being said you might be on to something, although i suspect the "scam" revolves more around the merrits that people apoint to some of these educations.

2020-02-27 14:13
complete dog shit, its never the education that keeps someone from finding a good paid job. it's the person, the dedication, and the will behind that person. there are michelin star chefs that started broke as dishwashers. everyone who says he cant find a job is just a lazy ass bastard. same with people that have a master degree they are good in theory but when they have to do small practical stuff they already start sweating and dont know wtf to do.
2020-02-27 14:15
Let me guess, you don't have a job or a degree, correct?

2020-02-27 14:27
1) I'm not an office worker 2) There's nothing inherently wrong with that job, I'm not making fun of his job, It's pretty obvious what I meant, it's hilarious to see a guy who is working with his family trying to lecture others about how easy is to find a job and how those that can't find one are "lazy ass bastards". I'm sure every single of those "lazy ass bastard" would have a job if their dad/mom had a resturant, don't you think?

2020-02-27 14:16
depends if u study just for the sake of studying or to make ur parents proud or to fit in society, then mayb. but if ur really 100% behind the shit u study, its never a waste, never ever a scam. this is the problem of the world, ppl study to get a good job and good payment but then with 40-50 they realise when they close to burnout that shit ain't worth it.
2020-02-27 14:17
for option 2 I would say that it will be better if you find a job that suits your interests and gives you great development opportunities, you will learn a lot more there than in university and you will also use your knowledge in practice, unless your interests require formal education to start

Yes
2020-02-27 15:29

2020-02-27 16:06
scam most business owners has poor academic education level same as actors, singers, sportsmens, artist, salesmens and they make way more money maybe only MBA executives, layers, bankers and medical doctors make a good amount of money out of their education
2020-02-27 16:35
lmao okay I guess then neglect school and see where it leads you
2020-02-27 17:26
too late bro i already have engineer degree and master not fully finished highly disappointed with my career and unemployment I need to learn web development by myself now to not end up as total failure and poor homeless so education gave me absolutely nothing in terms of finance value
2020-02-27 17:57
There being a correlation between education and wealth doesn not mean that everyone with high education is guaranteed to succeed.
2020-02-27 17:59
but if you listen to successful people hardly anyone point out at education as major factor? moreover they mock at it as it's a joke
2020-02-27 18:03
You can not just look at the few succesful high school dropouts and say there is no correlation. For every succesful one there thousands that end up working at mcDonalds. On average, higher education means higher wealth, that's the point. Doesn't mean that education is *needed* to succeed, but it does increase the chances a lot
2020-02-27 18:05
highly doubt it as you said it's just a correlation but you make conclusions as if it was causation therefore error 404 logic not found cognitive error morelikely it's simply ambitons and inteligent individuals, cognitive well developed indiviudals who accumalate more wealth - therefore they do well at school as well, but that doesn't mean that academic education lead them to that success and I want to make clear distinction between - school/academic education as a form of institution and real world self-learning process which is rather inevitable

Depends.if you're going for an engineering for accounting undergrad, you'll have a great advantage compared to everyone after your 4 years. Medical Fields yields great return if you graduate and start working and computer science, I don't even have to say. It's god tier. But for majors and programmes like businesses or management or English/arts, then you really aren't special anymore because these courses are so easy and common.

higher education is just a higher level of education in a study of your field, doesn't always refer to university. I was highlighting education as important so that you might understand the importance of 'higher' education. Yes I agree to some extent on what you are saying, it depends on the person. For someone with ambitions in medicine, a higher education is absolutely necessary in today's (well Australia's) society, the person could never become a surgeon, etc, without have going to university. But for somebody who will do trades, obviously university is going to be mostly useless, in Australia we have TAFE, which is a school to learn trades, which I would consider a 'higher education' from highschool. So IMO it all depends on the person, and there are many successful without uni/tafe but in todays society the average person needs a higher education.

Of course people earn more if they work in the field where degree is preferred, do your research on people who work in a business field or a creativity field and you would see that people without higher education earn more than people in IT or engineering field for example.

At my company they take some grads and some apprentices. The apprentices tend to, not always, but tend to get stuck at junior roles well into their 30s. They have a narrower world view ie they’ve always worked for the same company and lived with/near their parents never leaving their comfort zone. The biggest thing uni teaches you is how to learn independently and a lot of apprentices struggle with not bein spoon fed everything like you are at school
