There is something not right about cs go. I tend to believe that there are cheaters in pro scene. I’ll write why in detail. 1- Cheating in video games is so common and relatively easy compared to sports or any other competitive sports&games. 2- Cs go players aren’t saints. Their mentality are worse than any other sport men in my opinion. You can literally see how toxic and bad behavioural pro players can be. If you go to YouTube, you’ll find tons of videos that pro players being assholes. 3- There is a huge money at stake. If there is human beings and money, there will be cheating for sure. It is almost inevitable. In the history of sports, there were always cheaters and there will be always cheaters so why not in cs go? 4- Anti cheat systems aren’t effective. Even low cost cheats can’t be detected at LAN tournaments. Some people don’t believe pros are cheating. Now let’s look at their claims. 1- Why would a pro player destroy his career? Well, why Lance Armstrong “destroyed” his career? Why would any sport man would cheat? The answer is obvious: some people are greedy and they want to achieve more than they can. I don’t see why it should be different in cs go. 2- Pros are skilled people. You just don’t understand. This one is one of the stupidest. Yes, pro players are skilled but guess what? There are more skilled players and if you can’t beat them, you cheat. That’s the whole logic of cheating. 4- It is impossible to cheat at LAN tournaments. Is it? How about forsaken with 20$ cheat? He did get caught but god knows how long he has been using that cheat before getting caught. Consider much more expensive cheat. It is not that impossible after all? 5- You can’t hide cheats. It will be obvious when they use. You probably don’t know how cheat works if you say this. Pressing one button and slight movement of the aim tells you the place of the enemy in 1v1 situation for example. It doesn’t have to be a spin bot cheat. At the highest level of counter strike, any slight advantage makes huge difference. These are the things that came to my mind at first thought. You can write more claims and I’ll gladly answer.

There is literally nothing wrong in what he wrote
2020-02-27 15:17
I agree only way to make sure is get proper proper real good anti cheats Also those PC's at big events have like fucking newest cpu so pros or whoever tries to argue against the aggressive anti cheats CANNOT use lower performance as an argument
2020-02-27 15:08

why do pros still whiff sprays or rotate to wrong site or something if they cheat?
2020-02-27 15:05
There are two answers to this. First, not all players are cheating. Second, like I said in the thread, it gives you slight advantage. You don’t want to make it obvious. If the round matters too much, you use cheat for example if it is 14-14 and you are going to eco next round if you lose. You don’t use it if it is 10-5 in favour of your team.
2020-02-27 15:11
if its 14-14 and you are going to eco next round if you lose kkkkkk smh my head

Someone finally made a good thread pointing out all their arguments , a discussion worth a conversation "Hurr Durr no one cheating , someone lost a bet"
2020-02-27 15:09
Yeah there could be some in the top 10 who knows. But when ppl posting clips of players "aimlocking" through walls i cringe.
2020-02-27 15:08
+1000 They are 100% cheating, only blind people dont see it.

There are two camps in this discussion; one that already assumes that things are as you claim and one that refuses to believe it no matter the logic applied. Never the two shall meet.
2020-02-27 15:11
I don't disagree with anything you said but that doesn't warrant a witchunt for every clip
2020-02-27 15:12
Exactly I never believe they cheat based on just one clip. There are extremely fishy clips but this is something almost a feeling. You feel there is something wrong.
2020-02-27 15:14
Since you drew a parallel to other sports do you ever ask yourself why no one has been caught since years? I mean the last "big" player caught was KQLY, meanwhile you mention Armstrong, but that was just the the most notable case, i remember dozens and dozens of cyclists being disqualified for doping, hell some of those like Ullrich and others were battling against Armstrong in that period We can assume that coders are one step ahead of anticheats, but you could say the same about doping and anti-doping
2020-02-27 15:26
That’s what I am trying to say tbh. I gave the Armstrong example because I wanted to make my point clear. Look at Russia’s Olympic team.

i dont think any of the top pros (tier 1 teams) are cheating. But there is definitely a lot of cheating going on the semi-pro scene and probably a few in lower tier pro teams
2020-02-27 15:12
most of tier 1 teams have aimloks clips maybe nip never used cheats
2020-02-27 15:13
Ofc pros are cheating. I also believe that some guys on Liquid and Astralis use a little extra gear
2020-02-27 15:14
there is no number 3 for things against cheating..
2020-02-27 15:14
Ah shit mb lmao how did I miss that xD
2020-02-27 15:16
They won't get banned 4 sure, if players like s1mple turned out to be cheaters then the entire scene would be discredited and the scene would fall apart. Investors would pull out, the game would lose viewership, etc. etc., so they don't ban well-known players.

lul always when I post this, thread is deleted a few mins later. They delete the truth. Bois, ESSENTIAL for every competition (sport, market etc.) is a THIRD PARTY WITHOUT CONFLICTS OF INTEREST that controles the conditions, ensures fair competition, takes anti cheat actions etc.. CSGO is a multi million dollar bizz, bigger than many other sports and markets. but there is NO such third party. We all have to trust in valve and organisers that everything is fine, but they dont have any interest in telling us that their game is not safe for competition and the competitions we saw are rigged cheater clown fiestas. Thats why in any serious competition and market, this role is filled by a independent third party which only cares about the fair competition, not the money single competition organisers earn or dont earn. Tell me why csgo just doesnt have this, but not even try to establish something like that. We all know bois...we all know. at least people with brain.

+1 anyone with at least 50iq should understand it.

If more experienced and older sport athletes are taking the risk of doping which they carry in their blood, why wouldn't pro gamers do it in digital gaming tournaments. It is way more easy with the mouse and keyboard that they bring to the tournments. There are thousands ways to manupilate 8 year old game engine if you find a skilled programmer. VAC and other anti-cheats work on known and public cheats. Even with that fashion they couldnt catch most of the cheats. But if you have a custom made it is impossible to trace and find it. And these Pros play generally thousands of hours with that cheats to show more realistic. Where there thousand of cheats on the market and online side is full of cheaters, it is unbelivable to trust pros like they are saints and wont do anything wrong. It is all about one usb connection. For example any skilled cheat programmer can create sound cues for locating opponents via proximity. And nobody see nothing on your screen. Most of the Pros are enough rich that they can easily involve in these type of stuff. He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have.
2020-02-27 15:51
+1 and real sport players are not only risking their career but also their health and life span and they still cheat their asses off.

1- Why would a pro player destroy his career? This point has no sense since Flusha could get out without any kind of ban when he was super blatant some years ago, not just him, a lot of other players have a lot of shady clips and none of them was banned or at least take their gear for further analysis or something. Same for Lance Armstrong, he was catch years later because someone decided to run an actual test to some of his blood that was stored on the fridge, just to realize that cheating and cheaters are always one step further than the tests. Same for the doping thing on Russia olympics. I mean, when they do this, it could ruin his career if they are catch, but usually you have to screw up a lot or someone who knows, has to sell you for revenge or something, it's not like you're gonna be busted, like ever.
