Finally greedy brat why would you make decent money and potentionally win some more in tournaments when you can matchfix for skins and lose everything you gained through playing?
2020-02-28 09:13
In that case the old VP roster is greedy brats as well

But VP match was already played and when they knew they lost they just bet for enemy. It's obviously not ethical but not the same situation, they didn't throw for skins, just lost and then bet
2020-02-28 09:40
You can make excuses for any of them, it's still greedy and immoral

But that's exactly what I said(meant by saying it was not ethical but I guess I should say immoral Lmao). But the situation was just different anyway if we talk about throwing

"why would you make decent money " the reason they threw was a LACK of money.

so you want to say, that being a rising star and having impact on a game and other players didn't and couldn't bring him decent money?
2020-02-28 10:26
Overrated cause of the past and i guess he knows that now, unfortunate situation but that's just life man, Good luck to him for the future

A real job? My pure assumption is from an upperclass low-end top 1% of Americans whose mommy and daddy bought him whatever he wanted and left him to play video games in his room while daddy cheated on mommy on every business trip and mommy pounded back two bottles of wine a day to drown her irrelevancy in life and didn’t want him pestering her while she got hummers from the mailman, gardener, and the creepy widower next door. Then proceeded to never go get a real education because he already had whatever he wanted and sought to use those resources to chase a dream of being the bestest progamer in the world. Just my outlandish guess.

“I’ve been having thoughts of harming myself. I can’t believe I threw my ‘career’ away by throwing matches for useless pixelated skin trading. It hurts to realize that I’ll never get paid $40,0000/month to play for Team Liquid or EG. I’m sad. I’m having thoughts and I want public sympathy. My life is in shambles. I never went to college because I’m from an upper class suburban family and my parents will take care of me financially while I chase my dreams of being a pro gamer.” Gtfo kid. Nobody cares.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Cannae At the battle of Cannae, Rome lost most of its male manpower in prime adult age range. Sons, fathers, husbands, brothers, cousins, friends... Dead in a single day. That’s something to have mental issues over. Failing at being a progamer because you made a selfish and [in some countries like South Korea] criminal decision to matchfix is not a viable reason. Especially when you come from privilege and life didn’t work out how you wanted it too. (: so saaaaadddd. Poor swag and all his misfortunes. Let’s sympathize for the little baby. 7 North Korean kids get in a fist fight over a single corn kernel extracted from a lump of cow shit and Swag’s pro career ended. Omgzzzz the tough life of being born into American privilege. I just wanna throw it all away. xD Pathetic.

The entitlement of kids like him is nauseating. What baffles me most is why people would defend that? Lol. The world isn’t fair — to lose sight of the plight of the many, shows how disconnected privileged ones are. jasonR makes more money than most CS pros — just from streaming. shroud left T1 CS for streaming. He makes more than all these pros will ever see. Being banned by VALVE is not the end of the world yet some act as if it is... Queue the violin for swag.
2020-02-28 11:20
with the current NA teams gate keeping and preventing new talent from rising I feel like the next generation of people that have that raw talent for gaming might not be playing cs.
2020-02-28 09:19
honestly at this point valve should just unban them, the ban was long enough to scare other people away from doing that again I feel bad for him

Or he can do something else in life outside of CSGO? Gee maybe a real job or an education? He could have gotten a degree in the time since his ban. He could have been a top Fortnite pro, for example, but he squandered 5 prime years of life away feeling sorry for himself. Look at aceu, useless CSGO pro. Became one of the best Apex players... Illogical sympathies.
2020-02-28 09:37
Lmao all the retards putting their eggs in the Project A basket, it will flop just like overwatch did, all the hype how it's gonna be a csgo killer, but from all the previews I've seen, it will not even come close to cs, no matter how much money gets put into it.
2020-02-28 09:22
I really hope so . Cs will never fucking die, we will die before cs dies Mark my words !RemindMeIn50years
2020-02-28 09:27
But theres players getting paid 15k+ a month for overwatch it definitely didnt flop
2020-02-28 09:38
First of all no CS won't die, Project A will take some pro players from lower tiers that's about it. Project A won't die it will be just as big as CS both games will coexist, there is no way Riot is going in this like Activision Blizzard, those fuckers don't understand eSports at all, so it is wise for some CS players to "put their eggs in one basket" because Project A will be here to stay no doubt. Riot know what they are doing but this game wont kill CS nothing will however it will bring a lot of new FPS players due to different demographic of fans.
