Isnt MS Edge just Google Chrome but with a different jacket?
2020-02-28 13:56
MS Edge is basicly a chromium based rework of old Edge, much faster, safer and lighter with less bugs and other problems that old Edge had

still a bit worse than chrome, the only advantage would be microsoft might get a little bit less of your data than chrome. but it is still microsoft
2020-02-28 14:19
No it's better. Performance wise.

Nope, all tests show Chrome still beats it. One test shows otherwise, a very single example provided by microsoft itself.

This was a few years back, i imagine microsoft has improved edge. techrepublic.com/article/chrome-vs-edge-.. seems like an alright source, if only a few stats. Basically now edge is getting close to chrome performance, but chrome is overall better

after using vivaldi for a while, every other browser seems so plain it has so much control and you can go back to all your usual favourite things and history more easily tried out beta edge for few weeks and overrated af, optimised for streaming but they all seem the same in hd tab on the left you can see what windows are playing audio or video, which are trying to download, what downloads are ongoing, you see and control everything

vivaldi is great cause you can change literally everything to suit your needs, but its still noticably slower compared to chrome or firefox
2020-02-28 14:54
maybe thats user problem i have 5.3ghz and 5g internet, so i dont feel lag
2020-02-28 14:57
browser require 5.3 ghz clock speed???? what browser is that? you know that you can make 2 simillar apps and 1 would work worse then another even if you have 10000000000000ghz compere to 3ghz??? maybe chrome or fox would still be like just a slight edge faster that you wont feel any difference but still faster
2020-02-28 15:05
you dont comprehend what i say he said he feels speed differences between browsers, if you notice lag in a browser or it feels slower than another in 2020 your computer is too old or your internet is trash i dont feel any sort of lag whatever browser i use, all the same speed
2020-02-28 15:10
I love Vivaldi, however, you can't deny that it is noticeably slower than for example Chrome. Regardless, I'm still using Vivaldi everyday since the pros far outweigh the cons. This is coming from user-experience on a brand new MacBook and several Windows machines with 16GB RAM + 4.4GHz and 5.0GHz clock speed. It's a performance issue, and is not a result of your components. The machines and Mac were used on a 500/50mbps line, so no, it has to do with a Vivaldi's optimization. Chrome feels smoother and more responsive

Firefox, without question. Earlier I liked Chrome because Firefox would crash very often. But now it is quite stable and I have been using it a few years now.

I actuall tried alot of browsers, chrome is by far best, but there are some intersting things, if you are more about facebook, wikipedia and some forum then i highly recommend opera. vivaldi is for people who are doing some kinda design, i figured out that vivaldi images are way sharper and clearer. but overall chrome.

Chrome or Firefox I just wish firefox had the instant in page language translations like chrome does, couldn't find any addons that could do that in firefox any decent. Edit: Apparently firefox is working on this and is already available on firefox nightly releases. Firefox #1
