they are tier2 because they are not tournemant favourites dexerto.com/csgo/thorins-csgo-world-rank.. its outdated, but the tier ranking is pretty good rn I would rate teams like that: tier1 tournemant favourites, expected to win = Astralis, mousesports tier2 top teams, but not championship favourites = EG, Liquid, fnatic, navi, faze, Vitality, g2 tier3 ranked, but not top teams = Nip, 100 thieves ect..
