if theyre rly important u can go to a data recovery company but its pretty expensive
2020-03-01 02:14
plug it into another computer and save the files

You can find data recovery programs as another mentioned. It's a matter of if your HD is faulty or not, as it can normally only recover files that aren't stored in "bad sectors".
Unplug the HD, plug it in as a secondary drive into another computer and see if it can load it. If not, try some of those data recovery programs.

Does the HDD work? You can clone it and work from there if you have a spare HDD.

You may be able to retrieve the important files if you put the sick drive to the side, put in a new drive and get Windows up and running on the new drive. Then you can put in the old drive and see if you can access files now you have a running Windows, it may go easy or maybe your drive is sick in a way that you can't access anything or perhaps something in between.
There is also different disk repair software you can try, it may or may not work. Such software can also make things worse.
As an alternative there are companies which deal with sick drives, they can often rescue data from drives which are in really bad shape however they are not cheap so if you want to go that route depends on how important your files are.

There are information restoring services/companies, you can try find one in your place.
But their service is usually pretty expensive, so think wisely if you really value that porn gallery folder

Get yourself a SATA to USB cable and get your harddrive out of your PC connect it to a different pc/laptop and just save the files you want to be saved by dragging them over to your pc/laptop

You can ask a friend of yours to create a live cd/usb with Linux. Then put it in your own PC, start the live sistem, save your important stuff, and thats ggs

Depends if you can boot with another drive and if then you can access those archives,if it isn't 100% damaged and you get lucky that the files are untouched you can access it,check if you don't have an backup of it on drive/onedrive

you can boot Linux from a USB stick, then copy your files to an external hard drive, then reinstall Windows on your main drive
2021-02-22 00:31
get sata to usb cable and try to see what you can recover, but i dont think you will be able to recover much. if your data is THAT imporant send it to a data recovery company

call a friend and try connecting your hard drives to his pc, while his pc boots from his own hard drive.
boot from another hard drive? liek a usb stick? if you have a tech savvy friend chances are he ca nboot your pc via a usb stick or something.
if nothing of this works, then youll have to contact some data recovery company.

I think if the Hard Drive is damaged you can still get someone to get the Data off of it, but it will be expensive.

Stop using this drive. Get other SDD or HDD, install Windows on the new. Plug the old one and try to access it's folder
2021-02-25 00:35
Boot from different drive and use your main drive as secondary. You might be able to pull files like that.

Use a usb drive with Ubuntu, you can execute ubuntu from the usb drive, try to access the hard drive, if not possible try using gparted to fix any erros, if nothing of this works only a company with the right tools can do it. If you have any questions regarding on how to use ubuntu feel free to ask.
