Bernies entire point yesterday (and multiple other occasions) was that politics is not something you should demonize just because the leaders are bad/totalitarian, not that you should praise regimes for being totalitarian. Example: Stalin incorporates a social system with a safety-net, that will not result in huge expenses. It boosts growth and productivity while it reduces poverty rates. Would it be impossible to praise such a system and incorporate into your own politics, just because the guy who created it was a totalitarian dictator? Just because you borrow some policies doesn't mean that your country suddenly turns into a communist dictatorship. That was his whole point. Some people are really just too fucking stupid to get it. I also completely despise the US political system, but that doesn't mean that all of their policies and implementations to the public system is bad.. it's not that we can't learn anything from them at all. It's the same with any country in the world.
2020-03-16 17:36
Left has its chance, but millions of people died and much more suffered I think it's enough Today's world is fucked up, but socialism is not the solution, it'll make the situation worse, like it always did.

Who said anything about socialism? All I see is an ignorant standpoint with no argument attached to it. You do realize that our most prosperous countries in western Europe have "socialist" government structure? You don't count that? The thing is, when you look at the ideologies by themselves.. they're all faulty. They all eventually failed in practice. Communism, leninnism results in potential famine and market collapse. Capitalism results in huge inequality, poverty and market collapse. Why is it so hard to take the "best" sides from any ideology that have actually worked in practice and implement it? That's what we do in the Nords, with capitalistic markets and socialist government interventions.
2020-03-16 17:44
High taxes and broad gvmnt spending doesnt make you a socialist country Your prices are created by the invisible hand. You have low taxes on small businesses and can actually have the small business itself. Your country is a capitalist country

Funny, since our government form is mostly categorized under Marxism. No. We are both. A capitalistic free market that has government intervention to stimulate growth in certain markets, and obviously to avoid monopolies, oligopolies and insider trading. Our welfare state, with its safety nets, healthcare, strong unions and care to the needy, elder and mentally challenged is all Marxism.

I think it's good to have as a human right as the economy will benefit by it in the end regardless. But at the same time you need to encourage the people on welfare to work, that's the tough bit. An unconditional income would weaken the market, weaken the economy and in the end result in less taxes, which would decrease the amount of income in the end.. so that would make no sense on its own.

That isn't really the numbers here in Denmark. We have the least amount of citizens on welfare since 2008 due to the liberal governments' cuts and programs. statistikbanken.dk/statbank5a/temp/gr180.. That being said, I don't agree with either the cuts or the programs as you see a lot of people that would normally go on early retirement, be forced to work reduced hours. You also see that the system is a lot more bureaucratic and tough to figure out for the normal citizen, but you are personally expected to know the specific laws that applies to you, even though it changes every year and even the government workers are confused about it. I'm all for universal income, but I'd much rather see there being incentives to work that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with the amount paid. 1.000 euro can be sufficient for a 16-18 year old that moves out for the first time, not for an adult.

At least in Finland (very similar to Danish system) I would highly support it. Reason is that we have a broad social benefits for unemployment, students for low income and so on. But this is system is still highly byrocratic and it doesnt only lag but there is high cost to run that system. Simple universal income that would match the basic social benefits so that you would never have to apply for them would remove a lot of the byrocracy and completely remove the lag from applying to receiving the benefit. This would allow people to always be guaranteed to have money for food etc. It would also be a cheaper to run. Also this universal income should be taxed out from the salary once people are working. So you really wouldn't need to get any extra money from somewhere. There is only positive things about the universal income.

Its a +/- 0 for the middle class. Lets say my income would be 4000e/month and I would pay taxes of lets say 25%. I would end up with 3000e on my bank account. With this system I would get 1000e from the government and as that is free money for me it will be taxed out from the salary. But only that part. So I would get from my salary 2000e and 1000e from government so I'd end up with the same 3000e. It wouldn't really touch your tax rate itself, its a solid monthly reduction based on the same rules that we already have now. For example if you work part time and get 500e / month salary, half of that will be reduced from your monthly benefit, in this case it would mean that you get 1000e from the government and 250e from your salary. So what if you have 8000e/month salary? Do you pay more? No. Your tax rate stays the same lets say that after taxes you end up with 5500e usually, now you would end up with 4500, but again everybody gets the 1000e every month. There is no additional taxes for middle class. We just remove the added benefit from those who dont need it.

Like I said, and this is an example from Finland where we already have expensive and very broad welfare system, that this system would REDUCE the cost as the byrocracy goes down. You need far less people to work for the welfare system as a lot of the work is no longer necessary. Yes the taxes increase the same amount the income increases. And yes my writing here is not clear enough for politics of course, but there are several ways of taxing it out farely easily. Tbh none of those arguments are in any way valid. The arguments that we do see, is that should such a system exist in the first place. Some people really do feel that you should get punished for being unemployed and that its right that they do suffer a bit before getting their benefits, and that it should be hard to apply for this. Which I dont think makes a lot of sense as they do get the money anyway but all the blockers just makes it more expensive to run. And of course there is the ultimate "you shouldn't get money for doing nothing" - argument, which again people still do get the money anyway so why not just make it as efficient as possible. This would also make it a lot easier for people to switch jobs, start a new business, go back to school, take unpaid leave etc etc which will decrease depression and thus sick leaves, contributing an increase to the national economy. Very hard to see any negative effects from my point of view, except that its scary because its something new :)

If you would pay for that welfare, only from higher corporate taxes, it would surely be a huge movement of money to the people, but it would probably be so expensive that very few corporations could afford to stay in or the prices would skyrocket which would probably hurt the poor people most. But of course that is one way of thinking about it. Overall the salary method would be very easy to accept in the beginning.

Well most companies are not running on a huge profit margin, meaning that the increase in costs will have to be balanced somehow. Either laying off people (reducing their costs) or increasing the price of their products / services. And this hurts most the local producers as same increase in taxes does not apply to the foreign companies. The idea that all (big) corporations are running some huge profits is just not reality, some might be on a very edge, and being big is the only way to compete. In this coronacrisis you will see quite big companies also to fail surprisingly quickly, meaning they didnt have money to operate even one month without constant income.

Inheriatage tax is complicated as most people get like apartments and such which might be hard to sell to be able to pay tax etc. Already at 10% its not always easy. I'm talking from my point of view which is Finland, dont know about the bonuses for all companies in the world :/ But tbh even there its highly likely that the 3 million is nothing comparing to the other costs so that the profit margin might be very small.

Which is around 5% profit margin. Meaning that even a small turn in economic state can easily turn that profit to a loss, like lets say a corona virus. I'm not defending big corporations, even if it might sound like that. My point is that many people dont understand that what looks like a "huge profit" is a result from huge costs also. Their revenue was 80 billion, they got money in 80 billion. And only 3,9 billion was left in the bank after employment costs after everything. They are building expensive 5G networks etc. So if your costs stay the same but your revenue drops 10% to a bad economic situation, you are already making a 5 billion loss. The margins are still small, even if the numbers are getting bigger. So taxing that profit even more or making some extra tax even before profit, it is extremely hard for that company to operate, they would have to increase prices, you cannot run business on non-profit bases.

There's tons of bydlos actually approving Putin's rule for Crimea, Ukraine and Syria wars, hating on The Evil West, Gayrope, USA and everybody else, thinking Russia is the greatest country around (despite earning less than $500/month). Why the fuck do you defend Russia? This country is fucked in the head and it always has been, swallow it and don't get salty over someone else pointing out the truth about this cesspool of a country. The truth is that a lot of people of all damn ages here don't want the changes; most of them are afraid of changes or inconveniences in any way. They will not oppose their colleagues or the boss pushing them to overworking, they will not leave their job because they owe the banks (which is their own fault most of the time), they will not leave their partner if they're unhappy or work on their relationship. They won't do shit to change their life, they're actually A-FUCKING-OKAY with it because it gives them what Russian people value the most - a reason to whine over, complain about and be depressed as shit. Ever read any Russian book? It's all about the drama, mens, changing shit would take the drama away. dyzio65 is right all the way. I live here, I deal with my countrymen every single day. There's a lot of people who support Putin and complain about every damn thing wrong with their life, but they still think that he's the best leader for this country (there is an actual opinion that anyone else would steal even more and they don't want that). People protested from July to late September in 2019, the police brutalized them over no reason at all (not like they do in the US or Europe, but believe me Russians haven't protested as hard as the other nations do, not even remotely close), legs broken, women hit in stomach (on purpose, hard), and people just swallowed it. Russian opposition leader got literally robbed by this government - they blocked all of his cards and accounts he had inside the country, and did the same to everyone in his family (including extended). Nothing changes here, nothing happens, all hope is gone. Anyway, mens, Russia is literally third world, this ain't no meme and the only reason I am telling you this is that I see and experience it all first-person. Fuck I am pissed.

Try to think what has led to that? Your wrongdoings, should I tell you. Tried to filter the people, terrorizing those who showed any signs of resistence to the point that we had to get involved and put you to rest.
2020-03-16 13:04
Are you serious rn? Its says a guy who live in a contry that punish people who express their political feelings in the internet (mostly on VK) , and im scared to say what happens if people try to create some kind of opposition, those people will be punished immediately, the most dangerous opositors usually gets erased ( literally ). And yet, it doesn't matter what kind of problems happening in a contry, ukraine is independent country and NO ONE has a permission to invade our country and set ur own rules. The only reason why this happened its because our defences are weak af, literally everyone can crush us. I'd like to see how u would invade such countries like USA or china, wouldn't be so ez huh?

Did you know there is the kind of laws that surpass the borders of your country? Talking about international laws and humane relations. If you terrorize the people, whether it's within your own country or in outer space, you will be dealt with. Simple as that. While others pretended like nothing has happened, your fellas who recognize themselves as Russians living in Ukraine were getting harassed by gopnik military of Ukraine. Pardon for my phrasing but you don't deserve a better treatment. And I seriously think that we played soft on you, we had to take both Donbass and Lugansk by force and never even ask you.
2020-03-16 13:45

Russian history after the collapse of the Soviet Union is a joke. They can't put things together without other 14 republics since everybody is independent and doesn't care for them. If only they lost Siberia with gas and oil (not ethnically Russian, but Russian colonies), they would be tier5 country in seconds. The only thing that make them prosperous is their colonies, it has been like that since Russian Empire times. Putin and Russian "Federation" is the Tsar and Tsardom of the 21th Century.

2020-03-16 12:20
UK has developed their first tanks throughout ww1, same applies to the first battle planes. You know, arms industry evolves fast during wartime, therefore post-ww1 UK military >>> pre-ww1 military. Is that logic clear for you?
2020-03-16 12:29
there is no such thing as "russian ethnicity" or "russian nation". It`s one big fluke, imperial false myth. For example there is no single word about ":russians" in "russian" constitution. It`s if to say just about formal things not taking into account true history not perberted/rewritten by moscovite propagandists.

Russia is fooked because the country had democracy maybe once in 1996. Since 2000 it's been 100% rigged. The government is basically organized mafia. They are not going to let off of the reign. Putin will remain the tzar until he dies or is killed (like e.g. Stalin who was rumored to be murdered).
2020-03-16 15:29
What democracy? It was rigged in 1996 already: most people voted for Gennady Zyuganov but somehow Yeltsin has won. Not to mention that this drunk clown was just a puppet of US so in fact Russia was under US' control. Also it was US who gave the power to oligarchs (through privatization).
2020-03-16 15:51
I was kinda young (my last school years) to remember and I wasn't into politics back then. Maybe you're right.

In our country there is real shit, which was not for all its existence. Putin is changing the constitution for himself, canceled his term of 20 years, which gives the right to govern until 2036. The Constitutional Court recognized the amendments to the Constitution as legal, the decision was made in just 3 days, which is not surprising, because the Court also belongs to Putin. Particular attention should be paid to federal television channels and Putin’s full propaganda, something like: Putin is the best in the world, Putin will save the world, other presidents are just pawns. They say that everything is fine in Russia, that Russia is flourishing, they talk about the problems of other countries, mainly Ukraine, the USA and European countries, but not about their own. Mostly adults over 50 watch TV, believe in what they say on TV, and then go and vote for Putin in the elections, and they themselves live on 200-250 dollars a month.

No, I don't believe Russian media because it's controlled by liberals. Neither I believe any media. Actually I never just believe anything I see/hear/read/watch. That's not my approach of working with any info.

It is possible only because of the stupidity of the majority of population.
2020-03-19 14:55
it can be called also tacit consent, approval, criminal inaction. Stop justify them. Also even if we assume you are right (no) and majority are just dumb then I want to remind you that ignorance of the law does not absolve him of responsibility. Same with being stupid/ignorant etc.

2020-03-23 18:17
"great russia" - moscovia is not russia and never was it, u frauds, impostors wannabes. And my words in that mood are always reaction on moscovite and polish chauvinism. current moscovite state is pure neo-fascist sate in essence, and also partly neo-nazi. imgur.com/WVSAE7V

Is that the only thing you're able to say? Why did you run away from the discussion when I destroyed you with arguments and historical facts? If you pretend to be the one who speaks the truth, then why do you run away from discussions where you have to prove your point? That was a shining example of my point right there once again. Thank you for proving that.
2020-03-23 18:27
ur "facts" are banal moscovite propaganda, rewritten perverted history in favor of moscovia and lezitimized by corruption, intrigue and violence. u rected by default, greenhorn. ur pathetic shameful moscovite swagger shit will be ignored further.
2020-03-23 18:45
You told me that you would you ignore me 3 months ago, but kept PMing me with some nazi stuff. Now you've said that again. I can clearly see what your words really cost. Absolutely nothing. :) Thank you for showing me and everyone your pathetic essence, I'll keep destroying your propaganda, good luck!
