but probably also you have a job and still doing same job? if it is right dont say to people it is not late. because this guy asked us for living that job that is related a major of university. i think if he has opportunity, it cannot be a problem. and also if he has a job related the major that will take from university, it's not late at all. it is all depends the his situation.

Go for it mate, if I were on your shoes, I would choose a part time uni so I could work as well.

No, you're fine

There are people of all ages and background at education institutions. I studied with two ladies in their 50s, some in their late 20s and a few in their 30s. Age doesn't matter.

actually stupid question! If you ask so dumb questions then yes you are too old.... WTF man, age is just a number... go and get it.. we believe in you. keep safe, and have a great night.

in the job market, age is not a number. They rather want 28yo than 58 yo

2020-03-23 18:11
Having this kind of questions is just showing that you're not old, mostly too young (childish?). Be more confident.

But before that weight all pros and cons. E.g. it all depends on how much education costs, and what chance to get reasonable job after you graduate. Will it cover expenses & debt for education. Where will you take money to live on while you're studying, etc. It all matters since you don't want to be one of millions who have diploma & debt, but no job
2020-03-23 18:12
Ye his question showed that immaturity. (I don't mean in a bad way)

Yep, it's totally fine. Don't agree that everyone should have clear plan for next 10 years when you're 18 or 20. Some people need a little more time
2020-03-23 18:17
24 old? HAHAHAHAA when you reach your 40s or 50s you will laugh for saying that
2020-03-23 18:11
Enjoy this great time!
2020-03-23 18:12
Depends - do you have an undergrad? If yes then not at all. I started my masters when I was 25. If no then it's a bit iffy. Starting a degree at 24 will still result in you having a potentially higher value in the labor market. Realistically speaking if you're getting a comp sci degree you could use those years to specialize at something on your own and probably enter the labor market both faster and better off.
2020-03-23 18:12
Never too old mate, go for it
2020-03-23 18:13
no, the only important thing is having fun ! and educating yourself. GL

2020-03-23 18:49
Unless you're starting in medicine, guaranteed to waste time and money for nothing.
2020-03-23 19:03
Why would you start uni ? it won't give you anything, public education is useless.
2020-03-23 19:23
It's never late to study.
2020-03-23 19:25
Nope unless your family pays for you
2020-03-23 19:26
I started at 24 , don't see why it's bad :p
2020-03-23 19:26
nope. i have studied with a 50+yo guy in same class in uni. never too late. actually u still young, your brain can still adapt songo for it man
2020-03-23 19:32
lots of people who started when they were 28-29 in my class
2020-03-23 19:33
I'm halfway through my MSc degree and I'm 31. No worries.
2020-03-23 19:34
you're going to work for 40 years bro. a couple of years here and there now won't make a difference
2020-03-23 19:37
if you know what you're doing and know what you want to achieve from studying at uni, then no, you're not too old for that. But, if you just want to try something new, or just doing what everyone do, or want to get higher social status from it, then don't do it.
2020-03-23 19:55
24 too old? you gotta be kidding me

2020-03-23 20:13
No, I have few people in 40-50 yo range in my university (and a lot in range 26-35, i'm 20) I'm going to learn until I die and finish few degrees, it's never too late for learning new things.
2020-03-23 20:19
24 is fine bro, u will be able to relate with the 18-20 year old with games/sports/whatever the fk u like, no problems
2020-03-23 20:58
Why asks someone elses opinion to decide your future? If you want to go to uni, then go
2020-03-23 21:03
You have to go work for 40-50 years. Spending 3-5 years to make those working years better and way more profitable is extremely smart.
2020-03-23 21:14
not at all bro, plenty of mid to late 20s in uni and older.
2020-03-23 21:53
not too late
