if i thought shaders look good i would have used a higher setting, now i am forced to use 1 instead of having 2 options
before i had a solid stable 150-210 fps for my 144hz monitor...now after the update it goes down a lot to 120-100....fuck valve now i have to upgrade ...
i dont see any difference with fps, but my knife (m9 doppler p2) is looking like a trash now.
It was better before.
it sucks for people with shitty pcs
and i think valve will fix it in few days because its only logical that if you have your settings on low it SHOULD be actually low.
If you have a decent computer you are pretty much fine. However it makes it really bad gameplay for people with bad hardware and pcs, which alot of people have. I think they might revert it. I hope so too.
cut my fps in half, literally unplayable, I am not gonna buy a new pc for 5 hours of CS per week, I hope it will get better with patches otherwise I will have to switch to fucking valorant or smthn
these shaders were there before its just that valve cant fix nvidias problems so its forced on very high even if you put shaders on low, went from 200 fps to 120-140 because of this dumb update
People stop crying about fps ffs, dont play on a potato
it doesnt affect my fps either, but i dont like to play with high shaders.
I now get like 50-80 fps less, but I updated my drivers before the game, so it might be because of it, idk
Sometimes the reflections in the glass makes it harder to see people behind it though
I was scared they'd drop my frames to below 60 on my potato, but luckily no effect
Working great for me. I had a lot of stutters since the latest updates but now they are fixed and I have same fps, maybe even better in some maps.
By the way, I don't understand people who complaints and play with low shaders / 800x600 but spent hundreds of dollars on inventory if they see the guns like minecraft shit.
I tested it on two machines,
1. pc with i5 8400, 2x 8GB DDR4, gtx 1660 super OC
I used to get around 300 before, no change after update
2. shitty laptop with i3 6006u, 8GB, AMD 520
used to get around 100 fps before, no change after update
I didn't have any problems after the update, the stutters are gone, but I don't like high shaders. The low shader video setting is useless now
