did flusha cheated in the past?
 |
Europe Jimboo
imo he did cheat in the past, but when valve caught him fnatic had won too many tournaments already and it would been to much head ache for valve to what to do, should they replay the tournaments? should they take money from other fnatic players back? So they jus told flusha to stop because they know but dont want to publish all this shit. /discuss

Cheats has moved way beyond the 2015 mechanics. Many of them barely requires any in-game actions by the player, and is fully automated. They are much better hidden now a days, and literally any player can be cheating when they are allowed to use private gear. The TO's inspection of gear is far from thorough, and only serves as a PR stunt. I am not accusing anyone in particular, I am merely suspecting any player using they own mouse and keyboard.
2020-03-29 13:02
In 2014 Kqly was using a cheat designed to work on lan without human intervention already. All he had to do was to connect his steam account and the csgo workshop subscriptions he had were downloading and injecting the hack on the computer. So if something like this was possible in 2014 I can't imagine how far cheat coders are nowadays.

The most bizarre one to this day is that people accuse Flusha but not Olof. Unlike Flusha, Olof's name was actually leaked along with several other names by a credible hacker source back in 2014. And unlike Flusha, Olof dropped off a fucking cliff performance wise due to a mysterious wrist injury, which if you think about it, sounds like a perfect cover story. Flusha at least has had plenty of vintage performances inbetween spells of bad form, suggesting he doesn't cheat.

flusha has very good game sense thats why he can still have good performances often even if he doesn't cheat anymore (which i doubt). olof was just running and killing everything but he definitely cheated too. along with guardian who also had the same "wrist injury" as olof and then fell of a cliff so hard.

pro's are a lot more likely to get a wrist injuries from repetitive movements, and it is difficult to come back. Same thing happens in baseball with pitchers who get wrist injuries from repetitive movements and than are never as good as before. Maybe they were cheating but to me at least wrist injury seems valid.
2020-03-29 16:02
its because of flushas obvious clips ? havent seen these clips from zywoo or s1mple. maybe you also find suspicious clips from them because you can find clips like that for every player. but thinking zywoo or simple is cheating is totally braindead imo
2020-03-29 16:03

2020-03-29 13:12
Yea, silent bans are the best way to deal with cheating (if it occurs). Dont tell the community because they can't handle it, only tell the player that he has to either stop or retire, it's the smartest solution.
2020-03-29 13:12
But it's unfair to other players. If you're legit but got beaten by a hacker who in the end only got told that it's bad and he shouldn't do it again then all you want to do is hack yourself to secure a few tournaments and months of good prize money. And then valve tells you to go back to the initial situation so you have everything to win in hacking. I don't imagine valve dealing with cheaters like this, it's the opened door for chaos.
2020-03-29 13:48
Yea, you're right but like I said, I think silent bans is the better option compared to for example making a public letter saying ''PRO PLAYER HANDED LIFETIME BAN'' because then people would get angry about how the cheater managed to get away with it and the security at tournaments like checking keyboards and stuff would look useless.
2020-03-29 14:02
I see your point, both strategies are possible.

A lot of players cheated on the past, I don't think is that common now, but it's still something doable since they can take they gear to the stage and cheats are a lot better nowadays, so you'll not find some blatant hacks like the old Flusha clips. Riot is starting to give new gear to players every tournament, so is expected that Valorant will have the same routine. Hope Valve does the same, they just need to find a brand to do the sponsor and that's it, everyone should play with one of those keyboards/mouse and the cheating problem (if exist now) will be 99% gone. It's not that hard.

no cos im not mentally challenged. none of the people above have undeniable proof, only evidence. for every hour of cheating footage i can give you 100 of equally intense meaningful rounds where he doesn't do anything and fucks up. infact half the cheating clips he has almost no reason to cheat considering its a won round or the start of one, whereas he doesn't do shit in a 1v1 on the final map. its just ridiculous that people think evidence = proof.
2020-03-29 13:39
You actually think Subroza was legit when for a few weeks he was doing weird 180° instant lock through walls and boxes, weird crosshair movements and completely retarded panic locks? And after a few months out of competition he came back playing like trash and with not a single fishy clips anymore, all of this was just coincidence?

You can say that you believe something sure, but you can't claim you know 100% without a doubt he was cheating as nothing you have is proof, only a lot of evidence. If you have a lot of evidence you can tilt the balance towards you and say well i'd say its weighing up to show im right, but that still isnt proof bro.
2020-03-29 14:46
You're right and that's why Subroza isn't banned of any competition. And I don't push for him being banned without a proper VAC ban but only a fool or a very naive person wouldn't deeply believe he's a hacker. We can only hope for a VAC ban or some R Lewis revelation, or maybe a confession in a few years.

One thing i'd always advocate for is stricter LAN environments. Although i will admit it was a lot easier to cheat back in the day that doesn't implicate anything, just gives the opportunity. In a criminal case flusha would be able to be arrested, but at court he would be acquitted as there is no tangible proof.

So what? If you would actually play the game you would know than ervery now and then even a Gold Nova makes a completely unlegit play. The pros have played for over 10 000 hours and they have seen everything that can happen in this game. You probably think s1mple´s falling AWP on Cache was cheats aswell when it was actually just about 20% skill and 80% pure luck. Pro players try things like that all the time but in 90 of 100 trys it wont work because luck is not on their side.

I doubt it. If Flusha really was cheating, I would expect him to either be consistently amazing throughout his entire career, or I'd expect him to go from being amazing to being terrible. Flusha has had too many good performances inbetween bad spells. He's even had vintage "VAC" moments in matches where he's finished with a negative rating and lost, which makes no sense at all if he's cheating. If you're taking that much risk, you're at least going to win the match and have a decent rating.

he cheated, he probably still is cheating alongside with many other tier 1 pros. why should valve care as long as the money flow is continuing? Every sport has a third party organisations which are responsible for antidoping etc, which is financially not directly related to the sport events. in csgo on the other side, tournament organizers as well as valve would suffer as much as the busted players so unfortunately the cheating will continue
