did xyp9x cheated in the past?
 |
Indonesia Kriegmeister
imo he did cheat in the past, but when valve caught him astralis had won too many tournaments already and it would been to much head ache for valve to what to do, should they replay the tournaments? should they take money from other astralis players back? So they jus told xyp9x to stop because they know but dont want to publish all this nvidia shit. /discuss

i still genuinely believe flusha never hacked, i just think he's one of the smartest players the game has seen.
2020-03-29 17:06
He's smart in game, but it had nothing to do with his blatant aimlocks. Which literally happened every fucking game like twice a game. That shit never happens anymore. So what did he stop getting lucky every single game now? How did his play change so drastically over 1 tournament? (It was an ESWC)
2020-03-29 17:48
1. he changed his sens 2. it was not 1 tournament 3. maybe he is trying to avoid doing random shit because of retarded nerds witchhunting him for several years?
2020-03-29 18:43
+1 unbelieveable how many people cant grasp this simple logic. There was a period of time when the scene was DROWNING in these clips, most coming from the same players, and now its basically gone from the game. Ye, all the pros just randomly changed playstyle and stopped mouse lifting

Yeah because that clip on Inferno showed how "smart" he is lmfaoo i believe 100% flusha cheated in the past. You can't find ONE player with as many clips as him.

This dude just slowing down clips in default viewmodel and accusing a player just for views. It's pathetic. Train clip 1: He clearly says xyp9x "locks" on to the enemy when HE SEES HIS FOOT. I'm no cs expert but isn't that what everyone would do? "lock" on to the enemy as soon as you see even a pixel of their model? Train clip 2: He hits fallen first because he would know Fallen wouldn't have had enough time to run back to IV once he got the kill. So Xyp would assume Fallen to still be there and prefire. did the same with fer too cuz his teammate shouts out fer's position. It all happens in like 3-4 seconds so you cna't say he's locking or preaiming at aynone. Dust 2 clip: He clearly sees the first person pushing and sees the second person's hands/shoulder too before "locking" on to the second player's model.
2020-03-29 17:17
1, if youre not going to shoot the foot, theres no point aiming into the train that you cant wallbang, you should hold the corner in case he strafes out. its weird that a player who is as good as xypnix aims into the train there.
2020-03-29 17:19
If you're a silver you'd aim at the foot. If you're good at cs, then you calibrate towards the head. Or the chest.
2020-03-29 17:21
no, if youre good then you pre aim the spot where you can hit the enemy if he does peek or take the 50 damage you can do by tapping his foot twice before he jumps away. thats the choice you get. aiming into the wall in a situation like that is what cheaters do
2020-03-29 17:22
Xyp9x expected the enemy to come from the train closer to him. As soon he spots the foot he moves his mouse, overshoots his aim then compensates. I don't see him staring at a wall during that time..
2020-03-29 17:24
it would also be okay if xypnix aimed a few pixels into the side of the train and tried to prefire wallbang headshot the guy but he didnt do that either, he just aimed center mass at him through the train.
2020-03-29 17:23
No. Yyou see him overaim to the right of where the enemy comes, then aim into the corner of the train towards the left and THEN actually fix onto the chest and shoot.
2020-03-29 17:25
yeah and that part that doesnt make sense is where he aims that far into the corner of the train, if the enemy did strafe out at that moment he would be at a disadvantage
2020-03-29 17:28
You're saying it's suspicious because he DIDN'T aim perfectly after seeing the foot? If he did aim perfectly that would've caused suspicion. He was aiming at another spot before he spots the foot. You see him panic when he sees the foot, which happens when you're in a 1v2 clutch situation in OT. He'd be a little nervous.
2020-03-29 17:31
he aimed at the edge of the train first like he should, then for some reason (i think aimbot got triggered) his crosshair moves into the train and he has to crouch and move it back to the corner again and misses the first bullet headshot because of it.
2020-03-29 17:33
It's called overcompensating when you flick. Happens to everyone. I can show you clips of every pro who'd miss the "lock" onto the body while flicking. Happens to s1mple, happens to EligE and it happened to xyp9x as well.
2020-03-29 17:41

2020-03-29 17:29
he didnt miss it, he went to the correct position, and then his aimbot dragged his crosshair into the train.

2020-03-29 17:35
look at the video lol the guy shows the clip in like 4 different speeds idk how you can not understand what im saying
2020-03-29 17:35
the last clip on dust2 is the best one, where he shows how the crosshair moves to the head with view_recoil_tracking 1 and then the second part of the clip on long where he locks on to the head through the wall a couple times
2020-03-29 17:21
Are you saying that sarcastically? or that it was evidence of xyp9x using cheats?
2020-03-29 17:22
well in cod it was possible for me to headshot people while getting aimpunched but in cs? i dont thint its possible to adjust for it. only way it could not be cheats if is he was just randomly moving his mouse and clicking while getting aimpunched. it could just be dumb luck. but, you can actually see in slow motion with recoil tracking 1 that the crosshair is moving back down in a straight line and then the angle changes slightly at 1 point and it goes a bit more to the right and ends up on the head

So you just masturbate with those "oH HEs cHeAtInG" videos every time you got rekt by someone better than you
2020-03-29 18:04
no lol only way i ever accuse ppl of cheating is after watching the demo unless theyre literally wallbang headshotting people every round. but when you are spectating a game and get to see x ray and where ppl put their crosshair its very easy to tell. are they putting their crosshair on enemies through walls at random moments without any sound cue, at angles that arent lineups for any grenades or pre aim? then its probably aimbot. if i see it 20x every game, at some point it becomes less likely that they are cheating than that they are not. give me literally any demo from the past 5 years and i can probably see 10 suspicious aimlocks in it.
2020-03-29 18:09
also, #78 it would be really weird if no one cheated in pro tournaments given how little security there is at tournaments.

There are two things here, Either the players got warned 1 by 1 in house by org's etc or the cheats got better, remember cheats aren't exactly used to raise skill they are more so info gatherers, all you need is a slight drag to "feel" out the enemy.

Maybe these top pro's simply understand the game so well, that they have some extremely qualified guesses about what their oppents are doing ... Risking the career, income and reputation may not be worth it. Cheating is for criminal simple-minded amateurs. Pro's make difficult stuff look easy in any sport or otherwise.

I don't know too much about cheating detection, but you may attract a bit too much attention if you make "astonishing plays" all the time, on a regular basis show some ridiculous performance stats etc. If you these stats online/on your own gear and fall short on gear provided by various tournament organizers, you would atrract some attention as well in the long run, wouldn't you? I'm a chessplayer myself, and we of course - every now and then - encounter this problem as well, but these guys/accounts get banned fairly fast by providing "top engine moves" a bit too often. So: At the top level cheating is easily detected, at lower levels the resources for doing so may be limited but in the long run, you don't get very far. The criminal mind put restraints on itself: It doesn't get you very far in life.

I find it hard to believe that these astonishingly great and skilled players are ready to throw their entire life in the dumbster because of some lowlife skidrow dubious activities of just another homeless tramp. The professional life with 8 or 10 hours per day day in day out for years is accomplished by hard work. Not stupidity of a teenager, trying to work out his/her identity in life. But I guess we are all entitled to believe what we want.
2020-03-29 18:58
no chance of throwing your life in the dumpster if flusha has gotten away with the most blatant shit ive seen in any fps game in my life for years. and it actually does make a lot of sense just to try cheating in cs if youre 16yo. worst case you get caught, you stay in school, you get a normal job. best case you get paid 20k a month to hold down aimbot button for years, plus prize money. i would do it too, if there was any money involved in gaming when i was 16. i wouldnt enjoy it but it would be a great career choice. and its not like its super immoral when everyone else is doing it too
2020-03-29 19:03
and without cheats most of these guys would not have had a career to start with, so literally nothing to lose its not like they can go to jail for it, that only happens in korea

Ethics is the individual's standard of acceptable behavior. Moral is the group's standard of acceptable behavior. Justice is the group's standard applied to individuals who doesn't apply the two above to themselves. But "nature" somehow put an individual in another kind of "jail" if they "get away with something" they know they shouldn't. A criminal is trying to achieve something without contributing which leads to THE singlemost miserable state or level of life. They sort of "restrain" themselves from happiness (despite the looks of some silly Hollywood productions) which is the ultimate trap: They put themselves in "jail" for the rest of life. And yes: A 16yo do stupid things ... except me, of course! ;O) These are of course not "criminals" as such. An entire career based on cheating is short-sighted and outright dangerous. The road leads to Hell.

honestly they aren't throwing away careers for use of a cheat engine but built careers on the cheat engines themselves. They can't be consistently successful online against cheaters without being cheaters themselves.
