Trying and failing is better than not trying at all 😎👍
2020-03-30 14:26
Ethereum is a scam, don't mine it and get rid of it as soon as possible
2020-03-30 14:25
Your gpu dies before you would make a dollar.

How can it die if i limit my gpu’s temprature?
2020-03-30 14:33
thats why you wont make a dollar
2020-03-30 16:03
Don't listen to this. It won't die fast if you do it properly. Eth mining is memory intensive, not GPU intensive. I used to run my cards with memory overclocked by a few hundred MHz, core downclocked by 400 MHz, power limit at ~75% and with fans on ~50%. GPU temperature was always below 60C and memory temperature was always pretty low as well.

You will end up paying more in electricity bills than you will earn in this scam with that setup. And when CPU/GPU/FAN dies because of 24/7 heat there goes profit dreams for the next 10 years when you have to purchase a new part.

only gpu matters for mining, but you should forget about profit if you dont bet on price increase with this rig

Pretty sure you will spend more on electricity due to more power usage than you will earn, just stop.

So very little a little over 0.0016 ETH a day about 0.19€ if you want to mine eth you would need an asic like the innosilicon A10 ethmaster.
2020-03-30 16:28
By eth for the cost of your PC instead of mining. Its a dumb dream to get rich on that. You can be glad if in a couple of years you farmed enough to pay for the hardware.

not worth it, i paid back my rx480 in 2017 tho
2020-03-30 18:00
Well... I get your point but not right now. Some miners say mine now to sell later...but you can just buy coins to sell later. Mined coins will be very little so it's pointless.

get nicehashminer and you can see in benchmark. it's for bitcoin mining, but you can convert it in your head... with amd r9 390x 8gb ram and ok processor i could make about 0.25€/24 hours.. not worth it
2020-03-30 18:11
gyazo.com/cd60ad909b6a2e795e73e4cc3d7244.. this is using my gpu and cpu for mining, only have firefox open for Play Music, nothing else.
2020-03-30 18:52
I run a RTX 2070 (Super) - and it wouldn't be profitable at all for me. Mining in 2020 is not worth it.

2020-03-30 18:14
You might want to tryout Brave Browser. You get BAT token while websurfing. Or tryout nicehash miner. Of course you won't get profit but it helps you to find which set up you need.
