120gb for ssd not enough for a pc
1 tb HDD
xaxaxaxaxaxaxa that is really the dumb mano!
Stopped reading at ryzen, dont care
You should really consider getting 3700x for cs go, it's the best CPU for cs go in the market
and you should get 650 w, everything else looks good, little bit more ssd space would be nice to have
Go with ryzen 3xxx.. Even 3600 should be better than 2700x for video editing and u will even have better fps in csgo..
7.5/10 realy good for video editing and other games on high settings, but for cs go r7 2700x is not best choise cuz ryzen have poor single core perfomence. in cs you will see avg 200 fps (150-250), only source 2 can fix that
i have r5 3600 and i got 350+ fps on all competitive map
ryzen 3000 series much better than 2000 for cs go and still amazing for other things but more expensive
16gb ddr4 3200 - you can overclock to 3466, 3600, 3800 with best possible timings
rtx 2060 - ok
1 tb HDD - ok
120 gb ssd - it's very small ssd in 2020, i think 240 gb will ok but you can more
500w psu - if you will overclock cpu you can take more powerfull or more effective psu
Can u buy a bigger ssd? I think a 240 gb will be better than 120gb cuz windows 10 is like 60 gb...
120gb ssd in 2020? You want at least 500gb otherwise it's bad value.
please give me your pc and use VivaVideo for video editing lol jk 7/9(no rtx 2080,so no 8 )but for your use i think its 8/8 since you play only csgo and edit videos
50w more for psu & 128gb more for ssd
I’m under 18 can i still read post or should I ask my mom?
just get 1080Ti ryzen 3700x
maybe get an gtx 1070/80 and ryzen 7 3700x, if it's actually for editing
what PSU exactly?
You should swap the 2700X for a 3600 since even in multithread benchmarks, 3600 outperforms 2700
Solid build! I have the same CPU, absolutely love it. Upgraded from a very old first gen. i7 930.
amazing pc but id recommend getting an nvme ssd and 120gb is nothing
probably great but wouldnt it be safer to take a 550 psu ?
Why +18 when you want people to rate your fucking pc lol
I would have gone for at least 256 GB SSD considering you run your games on that ...
other than that ... nice budget build
I just ordered my parts yesterday and I got
Ryzen 5 3600
rtx 2060 super
16 gb ddr4 2666 (yeah ik shit ones)
3 tb HDD
256 gb SSD
600 w PSU
Probably will update it in the future (probably will change RAM)
Edit: I think your build is nice, but I would go for a bigger ssd
120GB SSD? And only 1TB HDD? Good luck with that.
Also, hope you're not cheaping out on the PSU.
Nice PC , i just disagree with the HDD, i think you're better off with increasing SSD size, even if you can only afford the 1 256GB NVMe , HDD is trash.
I'd recommend going for Ryzen 7 3700x ( it is worth it i can confirm ) if you have the budget but anyways its a good PC
Monitor? Mouse and keyboard?
PC seems all good, other than the tiny SSD barely sufficient for housing windows.
16 gb 3000 mhz
could be 480gb ssd +1tb hdd
That's a solid build, depending on how you use video you editing you could add in more ram very easily
You really need more SSD space though. Don't settle for less than 500GB, anything less and you'll find yourself moving things into your hard drive soon enougb
Ryzen r7 2700 ***without X
16gb ddr4 3200
rtx 2060 ***super
***1 tb SSD
***600w psu (for upgrade in future)
500gb m.2 ssd is like 70€ so why the hell buy 120gb one?
Buy these components:
Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomohawk or Asus B450 Tuf Pro
Proc: Amd Ryzen 2700x
Also u need good cooler for him: Bequiet Dark PRO4
Video: RTX 2060 Super (Palit or Asus, don't buy msi)
Power: Bequiet System Power 9 600w
RAM: 2x8 3200 Mhz any of these: Ballistix (AES at the ending) or GSKILL Ripjaws or Kingston HyperX Predator (Not Fury)
And don't buy HDD, it's old shit, better to buy ssd 1tb with m2 factor: Wester Digital Blue, Kignstone UV500, best choice Samsung EVO but it's expensive af
spending 450 euro on a gpu, to pair it with a sub 200 euro cpu with low clock speeds, is a sure sign of a total noob. your system will not even be able to use 50% of that gpu's power. for 450 euro gpu you will need at least a 400 euro ryzen 3800/3900X or i7 9700K.
then on top of that you want a 500W PSU which is not even enough to build a PC with a dedicated 225W GPU in it. youre probably going to buy the shittiest cheapest PSU you can find to "save" money, which will cost tens of extra euros per year in electricity cost because it is shit, and it will blow your whole PC up 1 day after the 2 year warranty expires.
1TB HDDs have the worst price per gb, get a 3-4 TB drive. its 2020. 1 game can take up 100GB.
you also havent even written down which brands and models of parts you want to get, which is very important. not every 1tb hdd and 120gb ssd is the same. not every 3200mhz ddr4 ram is the same. not every RTX 2060 is the same. some have really shit coolers and will throttle on temperature.
please dont pick the parts yourself. pay someone who knows how to build a balanced system to do it for you. most shops do it for about 30 euro. better get a friend to do it who you can trust not to sell you shitty overpriced parts they have left over from last year. it will save you money.
Just get a 1tb SSD, they literally cost 100$. Using HDD in 2020 is dumb and since you say you will be editing mainly its gonna hurt real bad.
Nice PC for 1080p. I have mid-end PC with Ryzen 2600 and RX 580 8GB and this config can run any game in 1080p with good settings and fps.
Shit size for hdd when 2tb version is like 10e more, 4tb imo too big taking into account that it will need to be changed in 4yrs minimum anyways, too small PSU
Also why are you buing an old architecture CPU?
2700x overprice (better buy 2700 and overclock it by urself) and 2060s would be way better
Pay a bit more and take 2060s (bought this one myself, its fcking nuts), better go with 600/650w PSU (if youll ever upgrade GPU - youll not need to buy new PSU too, 500w will work on the edge and if its not gold/platinum certificate PSU - youll get even lower "real" power level, like 450-470), 120GB SSD is way too low this days, youll regret not buying at least 250 quiet soon trust me (just a friendly suggestion).
p.s. go with as high ram freq as you can afford yourself, if you can buy green ones without radiators but with higher frequency - dont hesitate and go for it.
7/8 anyways, good pick :D
That's a pretty decent build!
Personally I'd try to aim for 2060 S or 2070 build since it might last a bit longer. But 2060 is just fine.
120 gb ssd is too low
and care for your ram cl value
i persoally recceomend a bigger ssd if u wanna be video editing upoading footage into a hard drive even if its 7200rpm is pretty slow
I mean if u video edit 16gb ram is low at least 32 2933
also oc the 2700x
don't buy hdd is trash in 2020 just go for 1tb ssd
i hate ryzen, for me intel always better
why not M.2 disk? ditch that ssd and hdd lol
also buy non X version and OC it...
Since you're primarily video editing, Ryzen is the better choice. That PSU is a bit underwhelming though, I would've gone with a 600+
