CS GO models

should we have a console command to see default models if we want? like in 1.6 you could see everyone with the 2 - 4 model or the 1 - 2 model. It's important for competitive to not see these ugly models.

Valve didn't sell skins in 1.6. They probably won't do it, as much as I would love it

That's okay, it's good for the show in the GoTV and so on... and for 90% of the player base who are somewhat casuals. But for the people who are serious I don't see how it would affect to disable the players models. I don't care about weapon skins or knifes, just the models. If you want to use it just use it. Would that affect the price of the skins?

the price of skins i dont think matters to valve from the market... as long as they get their cut, albeit small increments. the purpose was built on them selling the operation for the agent skins. that said. they will lose a lot from the small increments made from the market if they allow the competitive scene (and quite a few casual players.. maybe they dont want to see the skin) to disable to a default skin. i still want a cl_minmodel 1 command for csgo... i just dont think its ever going to happen. CSGO is too commercialized

no because that would damage the skin market which is valve's most important thing

This guy is right. Valve would not put skins, models and gloves and other shit like that in the game if people could just turn it off. If people could turn it off, all the work that was put into that shit would have been for nothing.

yes but fuk them for doing so, weapon skins are fine but player model skins are just distracting and most of them look silly

I know, I agree but Valve have without a doubt made an insane amount of money from this crap and at the end of the day, they are a company and their games are their business so everything that makes money is good.

Yes. This. No matter the opinion of some people about agent skins, it makes money, and that is all that matters for Valve. They won´t give anyone the option to turn off the skins ingame. Learn to live with it.....

You think the price of the models will be affected? I mean 90% of the player base are casuals. And you can use it for the show in the tournament. But I don't see why a profesional player would not be able to disable it if he wants to. It's just for his view.
