I love Norway, but I would prefer to live in Australia.
i mean, the money is good and the girls are pretty, i dont know much about hapiness there but the weather seems to be too cold unless you go to a covered pool with warm water, then its paradise
Denmark > maybe?
Canada > maybe?
Still top 3.
Norway is the Saudi-Arabia of Europe
I love Norway but I think we better tbh. Fully biased tho.
Norway is best yes and switzerland comes close. I would still want to live in Australia. The weather easily makes up for the slightly better living standards.
Norway is amazingly beautiful yeah.
I don't know but I'm starting learning norwegian tomorrow
Switzerland is basically a better version of Norway and also warmer.
Your mind is pretty closed to mine. I travaled more than 20countries and guess what. Now I'm living there

worst country ever
Price of beer and pizza, but otherwise it is pretty great. Nice people also.
No. I am not going to change your mind.
Norway is actually the Best country in the world. <3
Norway is the second best country in the world yes (Denmark #1). But coming from someone who have lived in Norway, there are some reasons why a brazilian might not like the country:
-It's cold as hell - Summers rarely above 25* and and dependent on how much up north and inland you are it can easily be -10+ degrees for entire weeks during the winter. Mean annual average temp. for the coast (Where most people live) is 7*
-Everything is ridiculously expensive. A small apartment in Oslo? $2 million. A beer? $10. Frozen pizza? $15. The only cheap food is fish.
-It's very dark. Something you might not realize is that Norway it the same latitude as siberia or alaska. There is polar night is the central to northen parts of the country and even the southernmost parts of the country still only have 3-4 hours of sunlight during the winter. It's common even for native people to get depression in the winter because of this. This is also the #1 reason foreigners move back.
their currency is on the down and pretty weak compared to the euro (+imo feels so stupid to use cash in countries like that when 1 norwegian crown is 0,089€)
What's not to love?
I work in multilingual company and work together with all sorts of peeps, Norwegians are bit quiet but all in all cool dudes, finns are the most likeable for me and can connect very easy. Regarding their living standards, yeah Norsk dudes are probably in top
Awww thanks <3
You are best too, bro
no way norway is a best country
When it comes to comparing countries, there are far too many different factors to consider for the comparison to make any sense at all. If we look at Scandinavia in isolation, however, it is a little easier. Scandinavia: Norway, Sweden and Denmark - The Nordic countries: Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and the autonomous regions of the Åland Islands (part of Finland), the Faroe Islands (part of Denmark) and Greenland (part of Denmark)
So why is Norway "plausibly" the best country? Norway is crazy rich, in terms of people and government. Norway most likely has the most beautiful and spectacular nature out of the Nordic countries and of course the most beautiful ladies. All the people of the Nordic countries are relatively similar to each other. We all have a great deal of faith in our fellow people and governments - that is to say, there are also the "bad" aspect of Nordic countries. We as humans are very difficult to reach and understand for foreigners and visitors. We are often regarded as arrogant, deceptive, smallminded etc. We are all very private people with sometimes too much freedom. And of course the high taxes which most people gladly pay for in return to receive a large safety net, financial support, health care, paid schooling, etc. Weather conditions wise Denmark, for example, is the mud pool in the north. We do not get nearly as much snow as Norway, Sweden, Finland, etc. We get the most rain because of the fact that the UK blocks the cold weather.
All of the Nordic countries, have good control of environmental awareness, quality of social life and economic aspects. Scandinavian countries are also known for being primarily the least corrupt in the world, where Denmark has been ranked no. 1 for five years in a row.
Furthermore, Scandinavian countries are some of the few countries left in the world that are still monarchies which is also something we are proud of.
All that said, there are, for me, plenty of amazing countries that I myself visited and enjoyed. Yes, Norway is a great country but so is: France, Belgium, Austria, Canada, Spain, Portugal, the UK, etc. And yes i'm a Dane, and you might think i'm biased but Scandinavia as a whole, will always be special and some pretty great countries.
Best country by faaaaaar. Was thinking about learning Norwegian and maybe looking for a job up there.
